It's been raining all weekend and I can't do any gardening, so I went through all the posts and came up with some "unofficial" stats.
Most mentioned TV series
If you counted all the Star Trek series as one, then it would have the most at 9.
X-Files - 8
Outer Limits - 6
Farscape - 5
SG1 - 4
Most mentioned movie
Once again, if you counted all the Star Trek movies as one, then it would have the most at 4.
LOTR (FOTR) - 3
most mentioned person
Hardly anyone has been mentioned more than twice. Adam Baldwin has been mentioned 3 times (who would have thought?)

I would have thought that Sliders had been used more than 4 times... hmmm.
Interesting stats

05-18-2003, 08:48 AM
Sliders, Charmed, Star Trek Voyager, Firefly, Andromeda, Beastmaster, BSG and Enterprise all had three. There may have been some others. By the time I got to page 16, X-Files and Outer Limits were far ahead and I mainly just started looking for those. That's why I said it was "unofficial" :P

Page 16? What are your settings? I have 7 pages on this thread. But then I have my setting at show 40 posts per page.

Here's the last one we were on:
The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne - Nicolas Clermont - Highlander
My settings? Right now this just started page 18. I'll go check my profile.
edited to add: Ah, just had "posts per thread" set to the default. I've bumped it up to 20. It takes longer to load of course, but it's not too bad.
One of these days I may even get around to adding an avatar.

No problem:) Actually, it's funny that you chose Corin Nemec as the next link ... On an episode last season, Stockwell played an old mentor of Jonas', who told SG1 there was a rebellion movement plotting against the government. In reality, Stockwell's character was crazy, suffering from "naquadria madness," which Jonas is now afraid of getting. Stockwell did this episode not too long after he guest-starred on Enterprise.
Isn't it amazing how some of these actors just pop up all over in scifi/fantasy/horror stuff:)
Anyway, back to the game ...

There have been so many ... Farscape is the best, but only the latest, in a long line of genre shows killed before their time by short-sighted TV execs who didn't have any taste or intelligence.
This past year has been especially bad, IMO. Within the last 12 months, we've lost Witchblade, Farscape, Firefly, Buffy, Haunted ... and yet, dren like Baby Bob Fear Factor are scheduled for the summer. I'll be watching A LOT of DVDs!

This one is in honor of the 'G' Man who has kept me on my toes and laughing for months ...
There once was a Scaper named Grinner
Who was a great 'post' and line spinner.
With bizarre news stories
And 'speedy posts' glories
His fun threads were always a winner!
