How could i forget to give credit where it's due? I found the link to this board from Axcel216.com. The ULTIMATE OS/Harware/Internet Info site out there. DOS, Win3x, Win9x are all dead as far as MicroSoft's concerned, but NOT at Axcel216.com. Everything you need to keep any of those OS'es going and more is there. And of course, wouldn't you know, Axcel216.com would be promoting THIS board!

tanks, for da welcome to da board. I'm so clueless as to what's going on on these things. A post is like what you say first, a thread is like related to a post? What's a reply? What's...??? whats...??? U gotta link to how to figger these forums out? I'm trying here. I tried before, and didn't stick with it, but i'm gonna for the worthy cause of MOYA's LIFE!

You got the right idea about what a POST is, and what a THREAD is. The default setting for the members of this bulletin board (also known as a message board) is that once you make a reply to a THREAD, you are "subscribed" to that THREAD, and you will receive a notification in your e-mail if someone else replies. That makes it easier for you to follow the conversation of a THREAD. If a THREAD becomes too tiresome to follow, you can click on the "unsubscribe" link at the very bottom of the page. Be careful clicking on this link, since it's VERY close to the link for unsubscibing to ALL the THREADS!

Then, there are various FORUMS, to which you can either make a post (the first message on a topic), or read all the various THREADS and then maybe reply to one. The FORUMS are intended to provide some organization to the vast number of messages posted on this bulletin board. Thus, if you're interested in what the latest campaign graphics are, or in hunting for a specific type of SaveFarscape graphic (like, say, a bookmark) you would click on the FORUM called "Campaign Graphics", and then you could page through all the THREAD TOPICS until you found one that looked like a likely THREAD. Then you can read through all the POSTS to that THREAD. (There is also a search function, but I don't use it much myself, so I can't give you pointers on it.)

You can "PM" someone, which means you can send them a Private Message. Or they can PM you. I PM-ed you, and you should've received a notice about it.

This is actually a very nice bulletin board, and has a lot of cool and neat features, all of which are designed to facillitate communications between members. Keep checking back, and you'll discover how they all work. You'll be glad you persevered.

I think i'm about to find out once i post this reply.
Like, i'd like a pic of say, Moya, er Pilot where my name is, an' stuff...and posting links an pix in here...i wanna do that too, so i'm cool, yanno. I noticed that some links had the following html, and i tried it, using [url] link.com [url//], but i probly did it wrong, or turned brackets wrong way...
