Hey all!

Just wanted to let you know that the Library fund currently stands at 393.77
Once the funds clear from the auction, we will have roughly $445, give or take paypal fees.

This is enough to purchase
A season 1 box set to the Torrance county library (Its and big library, and the librarian there wants to build an entire program for Farscape fans and potential Farscape fans :D )
A season 1 box set to the Waco-McLennan County Library in Waco, TX (The librarians here are Farscape fans and wish to stock all four branches :D)

One copy of Best of Season 1 each for:
Catskill Library System in New York:
New York Public Library, 96th St. Branch
Lexington Public Library
Public Library of Cincinnati
Southeast Public Library in McAlester, OK
Shreveport Memorial Library in Shreveport, LA

I have been doing some research on where to buy the dvds. I have ordered one copy of BOS1 from DeepDiscount.com and 1 copy BOS1 from Buy.com to donate to my local libraries. Buy is slightly more expensive that Deepdiscount, but we’ll see what there respective service is like (DD doesn’t have BOS1 in stock, Buy promises to ship within 24 hours). We’ll see how it goes.

Direct donations from scapers to libraries in no particular order:
Boston Public Library (MA): the first 12 episodes on tape tape, AHR/Durka Returns, BTBW/Family on Tape and the Nerve/AHM on DVD. (katyaz)
Middle Country Public Library(NY): BOS1 + unspecified first season DVDs (Rescuefarscape)
Oakland Public Library (CA) – VHS through 2.3 (Jeffrab)
Torrance County Library(CA) Additional DVD 2.5 to the (Chemicalx)
Butte County Library (CA) – Best of Season 1 DVD (Tanker)
Fayette County Library (KY)– Best of Season 1 DVD (Imloco2)
East Central Region Library (MN) – BOS1 DVD (Zutulu)
Selco Library System (MN) Premire/I-ET, TGIF/BBBF DVD
Massaqequa Public Library (NY) Season 1 on DVD & VHS (PK LadyHawk)
Milwaukee Public Library (WI) 3 copies of Season 1 on DVD (Grapeshot)

We still have requests from seven libraries to fill, and will probably need about $220 to fill them depending on how DD & Buy pan out. Donations are being taken through the SP Fund
https://www.paypal.com/xclick/business=jul%40watchfarscape.com&item_name=Save+Farscape.com+Library+Project&tax=0&currency_code=USD

Due to bureaucratic red tape at paypal, the SPF cannot except credit card payments, if you wish to make a donation to the SPF and need to use a credit card, I will take donations though my account at mickie66er@yahoo.com and transfer them to the SPF. I will take them for both the Library and Military projects, just specify which your want them to go to.

Thanks to everyone for there hard work :bounce:

Thank YOU, Mickie for coordinating this. I hope Scapers will continue to keep this and the military project in mind, thinking of it as a way we can give back to Henson by increasing their audience ;)

Hi Mickie,

A thought to try to stretch the money for the project. You are able to buy from either Amazon or Barnes and Noble online, used tapes and DVDs as well as new. Often the discounts are pretty substantial.
