The Where's My Riot Fund has graciously funded the reprint of Volume One of the cookbook: “What the Frell is That? Foodscape: Unofficial Recipes from the Uncharted Territories”. A big old scaper "Thank You" to the FWA for authorizing the funding.

If you’d like a copy of the first volume of the cookbook or more information, you can get it here: http://homepage.mac.com/chryse/Guiding%20Star/cookbook.html

Keep in mind that all donations go straight to the Where’s My Riot Fund.

Volume 1 books are 1 for $15 and 2 for $25 which includes shipping to the US and Canada. The books can be shipped internationally for additional cost. There are also CDs available and a download option. Check out the web page for more information – and if you donate, don’t forget to fill in the “Other Instructions” so we know what to send where. We will accept donations for the first book for as long as the printing lasts.

We're also going ahead with Volume II of the cookbook. We hope to have it printed by the end of May/early June. However, we can’t accept donations for the second cookbook until it’s funded and printed (because until its printed, it’s just an Unrealized Reality).

So for those of you interested in both volumes of the cookbook, we expect to offer book two at the same donation amounts as book one. We also intend to offer the same discounts for multiple books from the same donation no matter which volume of the book you want. (So, for example, if you waited until book two was available the end of May/beginning of June and donated to receive both volumes, you could get them both for $25 instead of shipped individually for $15 apiece.)

Keep in mind that this is all while supplies last – when we run out of cookbooks, we have to get reprints funded – so there’s no guarantee of availability beyond the current printing.

The cookbook team would like to thank all scapers for contributing to the cookbooks either by recipe, title or donation. Woo Hoo!

Just remember that you can't donate for both cookbooks yet, just volume one. (I don't want people all confused and disappointed when they just get one kind of book in the mail.)

Well hey there y'all, a mini-progress report.

Of the 124 books in the reprint of Volume one, 38 have already been taken in one way or another. We're fast approaching the break even point!

Way to go Scapers!

Bottom of the frellin' page again.

Bumpity, bump, bump, bump.

Edited to add:

Can people in Northeastern Ohio use the term y'all? Especially Northeastern Ohio. Of course pronounced more like yawl. Didn't think it was legal above the Mason Dixon line.

I'm still a little suspicious of Maryland too! Sure they say there Southern but just watch how they drive.

Ya know, I went to college in WV and I had a professor...first day in class..who said...did you know that people north of us think WE are in the SOUTH? And with that drawly twang that can only be associated SOUTH. LOL...I got a kick out of that.

I'm in South Jersey....is THAT South? Hmmm.

I just wanna go west...I miss home.

And Akimbo :aok: YOU ROCK!!!!!

I've travelled south of the Mason Dixon and North of the Border and across the ponds. So I use of those cliche sayings freely, eh. Actually, where I'm from originally we would say "youins" but I didn't want to confuse anyone :ewink:

I am but the chief cheerleader of an outstanding group of people:

Chryse, Mycattoldme, ChroNate, Chaym and even FruniumSlip who has provided a lion's share of the ads to appear in the book this time.

Twich, as far as I'm concerned, New Jersey is South. ;) And akimbo - "youins"?? This is a word?

Youins is a word in my family - which is originally from SOUTHwestern PA.

As Y'all is a contraction of "You all". Youins is a contraction of  Actually it sounds more like "yuns".
