Actually you're right ... Pilot says that the defense shield was at half power ... but later ...there's this exchange between Pilot and Aeryn ...

PILOT-in-Chiana: But before I switched, I sensed damage to the defense screen's circuitry in the neural cluster. Nothing serious, but we need to repair transfer conduits.

AERYN-in-Rygel: Pilot, shouldn't we just worry about getting our bodies back? Who cares about fixing the defense screen? It didn't stop their first blast from doing this.

PILOT-in-Chiana: When we first got hit, the defense screen was only at 62%. If we get it properly aligned, it will protect us.

So I think we're both kind of right aren't we? :goof: Although you said 50% and I said 60% when it was 62% so you are more correct I think. I'm really confused now.

And for what it's worth, I am pretty sure that 62% was what Tokeya was looking for here, so you are probably more right than I am. Rygel was the one who said the shield was at half power, and they could have raised the power a little bit after that. :)
