New Hollywood Reporter Ad Project - All Money Collected! Thanks for the success!

Here's the deal, guys. Save Farscape would like to put an ad in the Hollywood Reporter (because they love us!) to congratulate the cast and crew for the Saturn Award for Best Syndicated/Cable Series.

I've talked to the Hollywood Reporter and these are the prices for the weekly edition which will come out next Tuesday:

Full Page: $2985.00
Half Page: $1845.00
1/4 Page: $1100.00
1/8 Page: $805.00

We would really, really love to get the FULL page, but we need to start taking donations on it RIGHT NOW. We have to have the ad designed and paid for by Wednesday NOON California time. The Save Farscape designers are already working on a possible ad and those prices do include photos. My contact has assured me she would give us a 'great place' in the magazine, and I've worked with her before and she keeps her word!

So, I'm opening my PayPal account up for donations, just please be sure and put in the comment line that your donation is for the Hollywood Reporter ad. This is a great chance to advertise Farscape and the campaign again to the people in the industry, the very ones we are doing our best to court! I think you can probably get the Hollywood Reporter at a Barnes and Noble or somewhere else that would carry specialized magazines.

I'm sure a copy of the design will be posted once it has been developed, and the Hollywood Reporter is in many bookstores. It's fairly easy to pick up in California, so if you know someone from there, you can probably get them to pick you one up.

If I'm not mistaken... and someone correct me if I am. Someone fronted the money for the add and the donations are paying her back. Since just under three grand is a whooping amount of cash to front no matter who you are it's really important that we pay her back.

So until we have that entire amount my guess is it's O.K. to keep donating.

Even 10.00 would help at this point we're so close.
