Quick report of the Saturn Awards and a few stills up at docu-dot!!

Sorry guys, I got people visiting from out of town, so I'm rarely at the computer this week! I put a short report up at docu-dot, with a few stills I snurched from the video.

It was kinda like you're TV starts talking back at you! I'm quite OK with recognizing famous people, I'm even quite OK talking to them and asking them questions and things. But them recognizing me...nah...that's...like...all wrong! LOL! I felt like I had entered the Twiligh-Zone ;)

Also keep your eyes on Farscapeweb.com! I promised Ships a detailed report and although it'll take a few more days (we're off to the Getty Center today!) I'm determined :)

And if you can't handle that, maybe Ben just has a great memory for faces and names. Ohio State U. had a president at one time who seemed to remember everyone he ever was introduced to and spoke to. Even down to being able to remember bits of previous conversation. It was kind of creepy actually.

i've seen some people saying that claudia looks really thin now, but i have to say that from the stills i saw of her in your report, i think she looks absolutely FABULOUS!!!!

and i was literally ROFL when i saw beneath the picture of steven spielbug-- "some guy"... that was just TOOO funny!!

Hee hee hee heee:) That's actually what I was after, but I didn't want to up the stakes that much for Ben's memory. (all of the Cast and Crew do nothing but give, and I certainly didn't want to "expect" anything - just hoping, but not....well, you know..)

palascaper: Sorry, no pix of Fran! I assume she went in with Ben and we missed him first time 'round, because we were interviewing Claudia at that point in time. We only got Ben because he walked back the press-line for another pic together with DK. It's kinda sad, I still don't know what she looks like...well, I guess, November in Burbank :)

As I said, there's more to come, it was a really exciting evening and really, really stressful and without the entire team working tirelessly nothing would have happened!
And of course without y'all egging us on, we'd never gone for it! Without this campaign there would have been no motivation to go and report from the Saturns :love: And Ben and Claudia and DK and Froon all thanked the campaign and the fans for their tireless work and their dedication and for (as Ben put it) actually caring about what they did :)

They all know we're out here and they all know we're still fighting, that we haven't given up and that we still have hope and that we won't give up as long as there is ANY kind of hope left. I made very sure of that :D Although, I think, they already knew, I didn't have to tell them :)

Hey T (and anyone else curious) -- go to the thread in Farscape Discussion titled "more Saturn pictures from Gertie" (or something like that). I think I put a link there to a picture that is primarily Ben, but you can see Fran pretty well in the background.
