... a report about Ben Browder and Claudia Black at the Saturn Awards, with a few quotes that, given the general level of enthusiasm around here, will doubtlessly cause a few of you to levitate. (=

Gotta love our guys!

"The show is off air, but FARSCAPE isn’t over. We’re not done with these characters yet.” -- Way to go, DK!!!!

Just one more boost in this couple of weeks of major morale boosters!!!

I like the sound of "off air" vs. "cancelled" much better :)

This quote has an scary similarity to a quote on scifi.com.

The show is off air, but FARSCAPE isn't over.
-David Kemper from cinescape.com

Farscape is over but not gone. Watch classic episodes every Sunday through Thursday at midnight only on SCIFI!
-scifi.com's farscape news ticker

Is one person trying to make a pun out of the other quote or is this just a coincidence?

When Claudia said some final words in the press conference, as they were going back out of the press pool room to the ballroom, she thanked all of us in the fanatic community most sincerely for all out support. I, umm, kinda thundered back, "We're not done *yet*!!"

I'm kinda loud, and people flinched a bit.

Might be a mistake to read too much subtlety into the headline.

I fail to see how this can be "your fault" g. The article specifically quotes DK as saying "we're not done with these characters yet".

Yes, what a good day for Farscape! I just talked to the people down at Materials Management at my library. They don't have many DVD's, and they don't have much science fiction, and when I asked if they'd like me to BUY a couple Farscape DVD's for them, they were just thrilled. They'd never heard about it, but I mentioned that it was a THREE-time ;- ) Saturn award-winner blah blah blah so I'm dropping the DVD's off tomorrow. I'll check the library computer every day to see how much it's checked out! And the Hensons loved the baskets and Cinescape ran an article about Farscape. Funny, isn't it? Farscape got canceled eight months ago, but there still seems to be no shortage of interesting developments surrounding it.

. . . because the headline was a bit contracted from DK, wasn't it? And one doesn't want to be claiming knowledge one doesn't have . . .

Just a flash of journalistic hypersensitivity, Digger, I'll apply warm bagels locally and it will surely pass by morning ;->

Aaaahhh... to be awash in all these positive waves...

And Gurnemanz, there is nothing wrong with being slightly unsubtle! It's what being a fan is all about.

Can't imagine how'd I react being in close proximity to the raven haired goddess.

The future's looking so bright I gotta where shades.

I'm just ecstatic that Farscape has yet again won another Saturn award. It just proves what a great show it is. Sci-Fi made a completely misguided decision when it cancelled this outstanding series. All I can say is that I can't wait until another show picks it up. Scapers, do not lose heart. :D

Thank you - the people at the library project will be thrilled, if they read that. :)
I haven't looked at the thread yet - but it'll be nice if you mentioned there what DVDs you'll buy and for what library.
