Henson delivery report - MoyaChick, Dans and LJ deliver....
Despite missing my train and forgetting my mobile, everything else went well! :) I even got the snapshots of the John, Aeryn and Baby bath salts bottles before I left.
Getting a black cab, me, Dans and Michelle (MoyaChick) arrive at Hensons in Camden. Hopping out with the goodies we line them up outside so we can take a picture of them, just in case they won't let us whilst we are inside! My bag also managed to sneak in those shots (My little twist on the Orange quote: "The future's bright, the future's Farscape." heh). With the amount from the fund we were able to buy three baskets, one really big one filled with champagne! The other two contained party treats such as chocolate, nibbles, cake, pate etc.
Anyway grabbing a basket each, we finally went in. Now the place isn't impressive outside, as those on the rally last year would have noted, but the reception is modern and spacious. Gathering our thoughts together we approach the receptionist and explain why we are here and hand over the card congratulating the saturn award win and the take-over by the Henson family. The woman was quite shocked! lol, she mentioned Angie's previous call, but still she was suprised and amazed all the same.
The receptionist was a bit busy as the phone kept ringing, so we took the opportunity to look around a little and there just behind reception on a sofa is Stadtler and Waldorf, hehe, I gave a big grin and then Dans taps me on the shoulder and I look at the wall behind. Mouth opens - wow, they have three bus stop size posters of Rygel, Pilot and D'Argo. I definitely want one of them for my room, lol (there were also a stack of boxes - Rygel? Pilot? Or perhaps more coffee for the Office? We shall never know ;) )
After asking permission, we decided to take a photo of the baskets under the Rygel poster, as it made a good backdrop. Meanwhile, several people had come in and out of some side doors and eyed up the baskets. Some asking who it was all for, others coming to look out of curiousity (or was that to see the chocolate? ;) ). Again, they were suprised, but I think they were pleased!
I wonder what will go first, Aeryn's ring, the chocolate or the champagne? lol - it's all good! :)
Lastly, I'd just like to thank the people at Henson, for being so nice to us. It must be odd to have three strangers come bearing gifts and then taking pictures! We hope you enjoy the baskets.
Also Dans and Michelle, who helped delivered.
Angie for making this all possible and last but not least everyone who donated!
Scapers are the best ;)

PS - piccies to come asap...
But for the moment you can enjoy some online pics of the baskets from their shop:
