Well folks, it's now been TWO years since the release of this new Farscape comic (let's not forget the old War Torn series back in the day).

So far quite a lot has happened. I don't know whether the current arc would be classed as a seventh episode of a new season or ninth (if you take into account the Scorpy series). Not to mention the excellent D'Argo stories (D'Argo's Trial probably remains my favourite, along with the first Scorpy arc). Crew members have come and gone, as have enemies old and new. Changes - some small (Noranti becoming a teenager, Jo'thee leaving), some large (Rygel reclaiming his throne, Aeryn having a whole PK fleet at her command).

Now here's where I want people to list their favourite moments in the comic. Five of them. In whatever order. Mine is in no particular order at all:

The first issue of the first Scorpy comic. That was thoroughly excellent reading, phenomenal artwork and brilliantly set-up.

When John finds out the bounty hunter he'd have to use to find Aeryn in the Unrealized Reality is the same one that's chasing his son.

John coming to in the Unrealized Reality and finding Zhaan and D'Argo (as well as Katralla and Katrana).

D'Argo using Lo'laan to blow a hole in the wall during a break-in so he and Raxil can escape.

The whole bit where John and Aeryn have planted explosives on Hyneria and forget earphones for Deke, and instead are just going to put their hands over his ears. Thought that was a nice (and somewhat cute) touch.

Any takers?

As my annual income dropped below $10,000 last year (2 of four seasonal/parttime jobs turned into unpaid-volunteer due to the recession) I had to stop buying, but my favorite cover so far is Farscape Scorpius #0 cover A. Scorpy's face on that cover is up there with Jack Nicholson's face in *The Shining*, IMO.

Farscape shipments to North American comics stores, as shown at comichron.com
http://www.comichron.com/monthlycomicssales.html

Jan 2010: Farscape #3: 6191 copies
Feb 2010: Farscape #4: 5853 copies
Mar 2010: Farscape #5: 5596 copies

April 2010: Farscape #6: 5513 copies
May 2010: Farscape #7: 5217 copies
June 2010: Farscape #8: 4983 copies

July 2010: Farscape #9: 4967 copies
Aug 2010: Farscape #10: 4739 copies
Sep 2010: Farscape #11: 4702 copies

Oct 2010: Farscape #12: 4335 copies
Nov 2010: Farscape #13: 4262 copies
Dec 2010: Farscape #14: 4134 copies

Jan 2011: Farscape #15: 3956 copies
Feb 2011: Farscape #16: 4003 copies

So the continuous slide finally halted last month; Farscape didn't move as many copies as *Scooby Doo* did, but performed better than the *Jurassic Park* comics.

Farscape Scorpius shipments:

April 2010 Issue #0 5219 copies
May 2010 Issue #1 4945 copies
June 2010 Issue #2 4512 copies
July 2010 Issue #3 4360 copies
Aug 2010 Issue #4 4128 copies
Sep 2010 Issue #5 ???
Oct 2010 Issue #6 3744 copies

So it appears there's more revenue when they run 2 issues simultaneously; Maybe many people are ok with buying both.

Where's the best place to buy these? I saw a couple in my local Books-A-Million, which is a supremely crappy bookstore, but I managed to miss out on those earlier issues you were talking about, ie the scorp stuff.

And does anyone know who publishes them? I would like to write a thank you letter. :-)

They're published by Boom! Studios (http://www.boom-studios.com/), and you should be able to pick up the trade paperbacks as they come out from the online book retailer of your choice, or purchase them directly from Boom! The individual issues have mostly sold out.

Grippy - let's not forget who does the script - KRAD, who can be seen hanging around here from time to time.

(this is his cue to appear)

As for who to buy them from, try what gregorach says or, I believe, Farscape Canada (don't know their url).
