Greetings all.
I am new to this message board.
A friend introduced me to Farscape a loooong time ago.. Probably in the Spring of 2000 or so. I liked the show, but never was a big TV watcher and never fell into watching it all the time. If was by chance infront of the tv and I could catch an episode I would.
A few months ago, I got a hair up my *** and bought all of Season 1 on DVD. I WAS HOOKED all over again.. I now have all of season 1, season 2, and only 2 of Season 3 (only ones I could find released).
Is there someplace I can get the remaining Season 3 and Season 4?
I really hope this show finds a home, and they can make Season 5. Its really hard not to read the spoiler sites to see what all happened.
Right now Sci Fi is showing the reruns at 11pm, unfortunately I work 2nd shifts at my job and dont make it home in time to watch it.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Whiskey101
Hi Whiskey101, Welcome to the board! :)
the number of seasons available depend on where you are in the world. the US distributor ADV has released up to the first 8(?) episodes of season 3 and they're doing a staggered release (about once a month or so, 4 episodes are released). You can find and buy dvds at BestBuy, Tower Records, Amazon.com, Suncoast Video, and other places. :D

Welcome Whiskey101 :hi:
If you're in the US or have a region 1 DVD player, season 1 through the first 8 episodes of season 3 are available. The next 4 episodes of season 3 will be released on July 7th. You can pre-order at amazon.com now.

There´s indeed a huge difference. I´ve all except for vol. 4 & 5 of season 4 of which vol. 4 is preordered and available beginning of July. I am in Europe (Holland) and order the DVDs over at Amazon.co.uk
Hi there Whiskey101!
By any chance lovin´ whiskey? I do, got terribly drunk yesterday evening on Jamesons, got kicked out of my fav. Irish pub at 2 am, emptied my stomach on the pavement in front of my appartment at 3 am (happily not in the cab), got up at 0830 am (1˝ hr too late), got on my bike and cycled to the office.
Today is my official recovery day :D

Word of warning to those who are new to DVDs: The British Farscape DVDs won't play on American DVD players. That is, unless you have a region-free player that also converts the picture signal output from PAL format to NTSC format. If you didn't understand the previous sentence, then suffice to say that buying British DVDs for a North American DVD player would be fruitless.

Welcome Whiskey101, as someone here has said, don't drink and post, and I have to say, it is sage advice based on my early experiences back in Sept 02! Thanks, whoever you are.
Watching music videos made by fans, Very Talented Fans,
got me through S4 hiatus, so I can recommend them if you need a "fix" of our fave show. ( farscapefantasy.com)

That's a great idea, Scapers always share. Check out the Americas area and search for your state...on the forum front page under "Known Space" near bottom of forums.
