CDW Computers has been doing a series of commercials recently that are strongly reminiscent of Farscape. One with a wormhole, and one with two men playing rock paper scissors (this is hearsay, I haven't actually seen the commercials myself).

IIRC, they also sponsored a number of episodes. Is there anyone out there who can pull together the list of episodes they sponsored?

I think they would be an excellent candidate for a To Do list.

I've definitely seen the wormhole one several times, and it's very cool. I don't remember the rock paper scissors one, but I don't always pay attention to the ad if I'm concentrating on writing down the advertiser, so I might have missed it. Has anyone else seen it?

I'm another fan of Farscape just writing to let you know that we fans
HAVE noticed the decidedly Farscapian themes of wormholes and
rock-paper-scissors in your latest ad campaign. I have very much
enjoyed your previous campaign with Fred(?) the sysadmin guy. I do the
same thing for a living, and I can remember yelling "THIS IS MY
LIFE!!!" and roaring with laughter the first time I saw those ads.
They're great!

Anyway, you have definitely caught our eyes. Your ads are witty and
funny (just like Farscape) and I always think positively of your
company after I see one. Keep them coming, and thanks for supporting
our show by advertising during Farscape. We hope you'll continue after
we get Farscape renewed!

Wow, great response- awesome letter to CDW, kitfoxer- thanks for posting both!

I'm sure they're going to get plenty of scaper love this week- it'll be interesting to see if Ms. Mancini has something more to say later... after she received a couple hundred letters or so :D

I've now consciously seen one of the rock paper scissors ads as well--surely it's no coincidence, although her answer doesn't really indicate or acknowledge the connection to the show---yet....
