I'll be sure to tell you once I've seen the last of the midnight reruns on Skiffy. Of the first 9, my favorite (I think!?!) is ...Different Destinations. I am most looking forward to Revenging Angel. But hey, I haven't seen eps 310-322, so what do I know?

I had to vote Dog With Two Bones. This entire season was amazing, but the coin toss scene really got me. That ranks up there with the Tell scene from season 4. There were very few episodes this season that I didn't love. One that I didn't care for was Eat Me, but it set up the rest of the season which was great.

I had to vote for Revenging Angel, because it was the first episode of Farscape I saw. (I was channel surfing and then saw one of the animated parts. Five minutes later I checked back to see more of the cartoon, and there was this huge alien thing, whom later became my favorite Farscape character. Yay, Pilot!)

I never realized how hard it would be voting for my favorite in each season, my favorite episode overall yes, but it is difficult to pick just one for each season, there are different reasons to like all the eps.

This was my favorite season, but "Sons and Lovers" has a slight edge over the others because of the scene where Pilot laughs maniacally as he detaches the door the crazy cult chick attached herself to and sends her flying into space.
That was priceless.

I voted for The Choice. Aeryn is my favorite character and Claudia totaly and completly blew me away in this episode. But, of course it was a difficult decision. The whole season was amazing...I recently watched Incubator for the first time and it was seriously intense....and ya gotta love Meltdown. :kitty:

Since Season 3 is my favorite season, this one was the most difficult. I love "The Choice" for its haunting portrayal of grief, but I ended up choosing "Dog With Two Bones." The massacre at the wedding, the coin toss, the goodbyes, the "you've got to be kidding me"--heck, even Noranti (I did get a kick out of everyone repeatedly asking "who the frell is this?")--in a word, wonderful.

This was a right tough one to choose, since season 3 is my favourite. There are so many excellent episodes - Suns & Lovers, Different Destinations, Losing Time, Scratch 'n' Sniff, The Choice, Into The Lion's Den 1&2, Dog With Two Bones...

In the end I've chosen Scratch 'n' Sniff. Nothing quite like it. Pulp Fiction, sorta, Farscape style. Drugs, sex, rock 'n' roll, and the obligatory shoot-out. D'Argo's new make-up was great, the whole setting looked tacky, but a GOOD tacky. Far too many great bits in this ep, and to this day I watch it and still laugh at stuff I hadn't noticed before.

For me, this is probably the easiest. I chose "The Choice," which is again a bit ironic, since Aeryn isn't my favorite character. I guess it's just because I felt connected to her. We've all lost someone we loved, and my heart broke to see her come so far, just to lose so much.

I voted for Dog With Two Bones, although The Choice is up there too... but so is most of Season 3. However, the season finale had (1) the best line that I can think of right now:

AERYN: Do you love Aeryn Sun?

JOHN: Beyond hope.

AERYN: Then, don't make me say good-bye and don't make me stay.

and (2) the second most dramatic cliffhanger of a series of any genre... the first most dramatic being, wel you know.

I think The Choice is probably the most overrated episode ever.

They killed off Aeryn's mom in a previous episode...I wish they would have left her dead, or at least left it ambiguous. Maybe that retconning killed my enthusiasm for the rest of the episode, but the emotional aspects of the episode didn't really grab me. I've only seen it once though. Maybe it will grow on me.

My favorite episode of the season though, is probably Into The Lion's Den 2. But there were SO many other great episodes, it's hard to choose. Dog With Two Bones was also great. Very emotional, and a great ending. I'd like to buy the whole season on dvd. I hope they release a boxed set soon.

Well, they did kill off Aeryn's mother, but they didn't really. Crais didn't actually kill her. Isn't one of the first rules in Sci Fi that no one really dies? Especially since she was shot off screen. That is always a clue! ;)

Having said that, I choose Different Destinations because they took an old sci fi gimmick and twisted it in a beautif and heartwrenching sort of way.

My favorite is dog with two bones. The ending was sad to watch. The emotion Ben & Claudia displayed was heartwrenching. We all know they are good actors but I think this episode really showed that.(perhaps more for ben, i think The Choice did it for claud.)
I don't think they even needed to talk, the emotion they display in their faces said it all, and that is the mark of a great actor.

Dog with 2 bones ... definately my favorite for season 3 still makes me cry even after watching it a dozen or so times. but then all of season 3 was good can't think of 1 where i actually thought "ugg what the hell are they doing with THAT for an episode??"

I voted for Green eyed monster, not because it is my only favorite, but because of the one funny moment between Stark and Rygel that I'd really like to replay over again.

Anyway, Stark had tied Rygel up, can't really remember why, but I think Rygel swallowed some vital piece of equipment and Stark had to shove his hand right into Rygel's mouth to retrieve it.

But the real funny moment was when Stark popped his head round the corner to see what Rygel was doing and realized that Rygel had managed to untie himself, and said to Rygel:

Stark to Rygel: Ooh! You're loose!

Rygel to Stark or himself: Not half as much as Chiana is. :rollin:

I voted for "Wait for the wheel", and I can't believe Im the only one to have voted for it. Im sitting here thinking about Zhaan's final speech, and I have tears in my eyes. She was such a great character, and to go in such an heroic way.....I mean, come on! WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The special effects were fantastic, the acting even more fantastic, and the story was so sad! This is maybe my favorite sad farscape episode. I think Grinner was right to compare this ep with the Buffy tVS ep "The Body", for many reasons, not the least of which would be the emotional intensity of it. This episode shows all that is truly great about FarScape!

Meltdown has to be my favourite eppy so far this season, but since i havent yet seen Dog with Two Bones (until saturday yay!) though and all u guys say its really good. So for now im sticking with Meltdown. It was just such a good episode and really fun.
Ben and Claudia are really great in the scenes they do together. My fave bit in Meltdown was when they were kissin and Aeyrn was like 'Frell' and john goes 'yeh' and aeyrn goes 'no no no no, i mean BAD frell' I laughed and laughed and laughed till i cried in that episode!

THis is a difficult question, season 3 was flawless in my opinion but in the end I had to vote for Different Destinations.
I love DD, although the show was based on a tried and true SCIFI formula namely time travel, it was able to make it entirely original and completely its own. the dialogue was flawless and natural the comedic moments were effective and spontaneous, the J/A chemistry was at its apex,no one who watched the banter and the arguments (even if new to Farscape) would mistake the relationship for friendship. And the ending! the ending was superb...entirely unexpected and poignant, it spoke of consequences and showed that this being TV fiction does not mandate a happily ever after. It broke my heart and drew a tear. what more could I possibly want from an hour of television?

DD is Farscape at its best!

I've been watching my season 3 dvd boxset (again!) and I have 3 faves
Infinite Possiblities Part 1 and 2 - cos you really begin to see the relationship between Aeryn and Chrichton evolve into something they couldn't bear losing. (and that performance at the end was bafta award winning!)

Revenging Angel - This one I like purely because I am a BIG fan of Roadrunner and Wile E Coyote, and it was nice to see that represented in Farscape.

I have to agree about "Meltdown". I pretty much despised it the first time it aired here. I just didn't get what people saw in Farscape at the time, but that was more than a year ago. I certainly wasn't a J&A 'shipper back then -- pretty much a D'argo/Chiana shipper, though. That all changed when I gave Infinite Possibilities 1 & 2 and Relativity another chance and "The Choice" broke my heart. Anyway much of "Meltdown" had me LMAO. I liked the part where Aeryn was hurrying up doing whatever and then she literally jumped him.

But the one that really cracked me up was Scratch N Sniff. I forgot how much I loved that episode until I re-watched it the other night. :rollin: Crichton in the thigh-hi's was priceless and the girls asking D'argo and Crichton if they were "a couple" -- double priceless. :rollin:

See, this one wasn't so hard. The first time I saw it I knew it would be my favorite of the year, and has continued to be my favorite ep ever. Lion's Den Part II will always amaze and dazzle me. Great performances, great action, and the hero comes out on top again while still being so so low.

I love Revenging Angel- the plot is fantastic and you can tell the actors are having a field day! As per usual the series upholds it's fantastic character development and continually.

Looney tooned neural Scorpi- Hilarious!

Revenge is his life- by forcing Crichton to undertake this concept he encourages his host to become more receptive to Harvey becoming the dominant personality. Sadly for Harv- it will never happen. Oh well...... there's always the dumpster.

BUT it has Aeryn coming back, the resolution of the horrible DMD cliffhanger, Harvey in the dumpster, Aeryn and Chrichton finally ackgnowledging their feelings to each other (that kiss at the end mini-swoon ) and what has to rank as one of my very favorite FS scenes ever: John's reaction to first seeing Aeryn alive. I remember crying. His choked hug gets me every time.

THE CHOICE without a doubt is pure gold!!! What a dark, surreal, & magnificent episode. Claudia Black's own simple, yet poignant, "choices" in her performance allows the audience to experience the process of grief with her. This episode greatly affects my own experience of grieving the loss of my unborn child . . . and quite possibly the dream of ever becoming a mother in this life on Erp.

I hope to oneday thank the writer (Justin Monjo), director (Rowan Woods), and Ms. Black for their great care, honour and respect while dealing with the sensitive yet universal experience of grief and staying dedicated and true to the unique artistry of FARSCAPE which we all adore.:bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown:

Mine too. But what about Eat Me? I love the creepiness about it. And Revenging Angel...well, for anybody who grew up on Warner Brothers cartoons, it's just heaven. I give up. Impossible choice.

i loved The Choice - i loved the fact that Aeryn doesn't immediatley return to Moya and spend a couple of morose episodes there, but actually acts out her grief and rage over the loss of her beloved T-John. I love the fact that his death rocks her world, and that the show recognizes this, and allows aeryn the time she needs to deal with this.

also i adored the reprising of AHR and the Locket

Meltdown is soo damn sexy, and Eat Me has some of the best space CGI I'd ever seen. Also great story, both from action and Aearyn&John relationship point of view.

I just finished watching "I Yench, You Yench" in syndication - and I think this is an undervalued episode.

Except for those frelling blue monkeys (what were TPTB thinking?!?) this episode is incredibly good.

The D'Argo and Braca comedy hour is hilarious.
The Scorpy/Rygel alliance is surprisingly satisfying.

And the shutdown of Talyn. Claudia Black was brilliant in this episode. Just heart-rending.

And Lani Tupu. Listening to Crais' boots echo when he walked out of Talyn's darkened Command is one of the saddest moments in the Season. In a Season full of terribly sad moments.

Plus the symbolic parallels between Golden Essk (the waitress) and Golden Moya and ne-er do well Voodie and Talyn.

Very well crafted episode. (Except for those frelling blue monkeys!)

How can I pick just one episode? I really love season of death, scratch 'n' sniff, infinite possibilities Part One and Two, the choice, into the lion's den Part One and Two, Dog with 2 bones... They're just the ones that I remember the names of. Season three is fantastic, I'm afraid I can't just pick one. sorry!

Thanks for Sharing where Crais finally gets to gvie Aeryn the vidchip of her mother in completely the opposite circumstances he wanted... Relativity and Crais and Critchon acting like schoolboys in a playground... I-Yensch You-Yensch with that gut-wrenching scene of Crais turning Talyn off... Wolf in Sheep's Clothing GAH! Noooooooooooo!!!

After much deliberation, I chose Green Eyed Monster for the briefest moment where Crais had everything he wanted.

And because of the whole half-naked thing...
