one really BIG question... John was given wormhole knowledge by the ancients. when did this happen (season, episode?) and how did scorpius know he had this?

John was given wormhole knowledge by the Ancients in A Human Reaction, in season one. Scorpius (and John) finds out about the wormhole tech when Scorpius captures John on his Gammak base in the ep Nerve (also season one), and tortures him in the Aurora Chair.

Oh Frankiexq, you definitely have to see season 1. Nerve is one of my favorite eps. It's available on DVD. Check out your local library and see if they carry it.
