URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR ORIGINS

We are short some bodies and dollars for Origins. Help, we really have a tiny, tiny Scaper Army and we need some reinforcements if we are going to reach as many of the 11,000 gamers as possible at Origins. It's this Thursday - Sunday, June 26th-29th.

1) BOOTH WORKERS:

We have two free vendors passes, and charmedmeat and I don't need them except for setup and take down. We can get you in for free if we know when you are coming.

TH: 1-8 I am by myself.

F: 10-6 akimbo is by herself, except I will be there from 10-12.

S: 10-6 charmedmeat and scrubschick

S: 10-4 me and charmedmeat

We had someone else for Friday that had to cancel. We have a possible for Saturday or Sunday.

I realize we are asking for working days on TH and F. But TH is 1-8, so can someone in Columbus come down for a few hours in the evening? Can anyone take off Friday or half of Friday to help out akimbo?

2) FUNDS

We still need $171.50 to reach our fundraising goal. We have no idea how many flyers we may need to hand out to 11,000 gamers, so we need a reserve in case we need to run to Kinko's and print more fast. Please if just 10-20 people donate $5-10 dollars, we will be OK!

Origins is a huge gaming convention held annually in Columbus, Ohio. There are a lot of like minded people who like scifi, anime, using their imaginations, etc.

Woo Hoo! More help on Friday! My hubby should be coming on Friday as well (finally talked him into it and he finally got the day off - we hope, he's a bit of a shy one and will probably be hiding in the corner most of the time. :) ).

njak said she was adding her digital camera to the incredibly long list of things she's bringing. I may bring my old fashioned film camera just in case - I'd prefer she remember the DRD because I really want to see it.

They (njak and family) should have set up this morning and it opens at 1:00 today I think, so we're off to the races.
