Spence Joins Ep III Cast
June 18, 2003

Though most of the cast of Episode III will be returning from previous installments of the Star Wars saga, a few new faces will join the production that starts principal photography on June 30. Joining the cast of Episode III as a helpful alien is Bruce Spence.
An actor in Australia since 1969, Spence has appeared in numerous works on stage and screen, making his film debut in the 1971 comedy Stork. Genre audiences will recognize Spence from Dark City, The Road Warrior and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, the latter of which garnered him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor by the Academy of Science Fiction Fantasy and Horror Films.

Spence also appeared as Prefect Falaak in "Farscape," and can be seen as the Trainman in The Matrix: Reloaded and The Matrix: Revolutions. Most recently, Spence's voice can be heard as Chum, the Aussie shark in Finding Nemo. Later this year, Spence can be seen as Cookson in Peter Pan, and as the Mouth of Sauron in The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King.

And don't forget that "Image Creative Partnership" is doing the make-up and animatronics for Star Wars III ! :)

That must be a major gig for them. If they keep the standard they did on Farscape Star Wars will be a visual beauty for sure.

They could even let Darth Vader start of with a bondage suit in true Scorpy fashion! :rollin:

Darth Gonzo.

Darkflame, I had almost forgotten that.

I LOVED The Muppet Show when I was a kid!
