OH NO!!! Have they pulled the plug on Farscape.com?

I hope this is just a temporary shut down. Or this is a serious blow to the Save Farscape campaign. :(

I think they are just maintaining it, updating it, I think we should check back there any time soon .... :D

I donīt think it is a bad thing, not at all....... :smokin:

Doesn't work for me! :(

But if you can see it blue, then at least it's not gone forever! :)

I can't get to either one. Both sites give me error message "The page cannot be displayed."

Could one of you kind Scapers who can still reach these pages please try to reload the pages from the server? Just hit the refresh button on your browser, and then let us know the results.

Thanks.

could this be a cookie thing?

I block third party cookies on my computer.

Both sites still don't work for me and I have cookies enabled in my Internet Explorer browser. Any ideas why they work for some but not for others?

I'm using Internet Explorer, too. The people who can see it, are you using Netscape?

I could see them both with Internet Explorer, cookies enabled, but on a Mac, if that's relevant.
oops--OK-so now
http://farscape.com/ comes up for me, but not www.henson.com

they must be intermittent at the moment for some reason--earlier today (when I posted above) I could get to both.

There is a computer virus on the loose. There is a story about the Sobig-E virus that is infecting network open shares posted in the OT forum. It spreads itself as a zipped attachment to emails. Maybe they got infected. It might take their sys admins a while to undo the damage.

This is pure speculation on my part, but it would explain why both sites are up intermittently.

Maybe there's a bad hop somewhere in the middle. Check your pings and tracert see if there's a problem on a server somewhere along the way.

DNS probably. Thats why it reappeared at different times for different people. Maybe Verisign crapped out. Has anyone ever done a whois on google.com, btw? I was...uhmmm... taken aback. lol
