I remember a couple people were talking about doing a short film and/or a documentary about the Save Farscape campaign. The Rallies/Cons board might be more appropriate, but more people come here. :) The good news: DragonCon has a short film contest. Bad news: entries must be registered by 7/11 (or special extended reg for 7/18.) " Films will be judged in specific categories based on the genres of the submissions. For example, in 2002, awards were presented in the following areas: Animation, Gothic Horror, Extreme Horror, Horror Comedy, General Comedy, Documentary, Fantasy, Magic Realism, Science Fiction, and Spoof." Certain films will be screened throughout the con. This could give us even more visibility to genre fans. Is there any chance someone could have something ready on deadline? If not, I think this is definitely something we should think about for next year. In fact, we could start filming now (and at DragonCon and other Cons) for a documentary for next year about how we DID save Farscape. :D

I think someone is working on a documentary - at least the idea was floated around some time ago. Tiriel, is that a project you are involved with?

Yup, we're still on it, but it's slow going. So nothing that will be anywhere near completion until the deadline, however, next year would be awesome :)

It's finally final that I will be going to ScaperCon, dragging along most of my gear, which means we should get all the fan-coverage we are still missing :bounce:

That will make it a lot easier to start some serious editing.

And thanks for the heads up Ammit! If you want to know more about the various projects, check out http://docu.watchfarscape.com :bounce:

Love and Peace and Soon :D
