Well, I think they both did pretty well considering Will and Famke are more well-known

But you can blame Claudia's losing votes on those fans who registered on multiple computers. Multiple voting is a bit sad and fanboyish (and fangirlish) IMO, sorta like that poll on that other site that used to get flooded with Natalie Portman fanboys.

If we had at least 60 people voting each day Ben and Claudia would have won hands down without ANY need of padding votes by a few people.

We have always tried to do these polls cleanly and it's frequently a few people who spoil the result. I find this outcome deeply disappointing. We're Scapers and we can move mountains when we pull together. But lately all the wind has gone out of our sails and there seems little enthusiasm or drive left in our midst. There are those kind of people in the world who think that - if there is a choice between an Honest and Dishonest way of doing something - the Dishonest way will gain them more - direct linear thinking - if I cheat I will win because I'm going out side the rules - not paying any attention to the more work that is involved and the reactions that occur from there actions - never mind the consequences of getting caught, I know because my life has been arrested by such people.
there is no arguing with them because they will deny it and others will get the blame anyway so why should they worry.
yes in the end it hurts there position but they don't see that - they only see what they want to, which is a quick means to an end .
the Best thing we can do is stay positive - believe me I know I truly know how hard that really is, but we can do it, also if there is nothing we can do about those that take the easy path to a goal - then we had best ignore them - if we can not do anything to stop them any bantering or complaining about them is just going to in flame the situation.
I am really not one to talk - I have done MORE than my share of Bashing - especially Bonnie Hammer and the Sci Fi Channel - and I'm certain it has harmed the campaign more than I wish to acknowledge.
so instead of of saying “what's wrong with you” - and “how could you” and crying foul (something I almost got rapped into doing myself),
we have got to retreat regroup and attack.

OK the damage has been done - what can we do to repair it?

I really think we should start our own opinion poll - similar to the Dutch one which has been hugely biased since day one.
The year before last they (the opinie nationale board owners) removed, Raelee, Tammy and Francesca because the Mods didn't know who they were - and they had moved up the poll to the 50's and 60's with over 3000 votes each. That was some accomplishment seeing as how there were over 400 names on the poll to vote for.

I have always contended that if about 60 or so Farscape fans voted every day (like the couple of dozen faithfuls have over the last 2 years) we would have no need to pad polls or get people to sign up on the last day which looks very suspicious. I mean honestly folks, if you can't be bothered to vote every day why would you want to sign up at the last minute? :shrug:
