Debating about the value of a poll takes longer than voting...besides ANY poll that puts Farscape's name in the public eye in a positive light IS valid and worthwhile.

It's pretty simple really.


Farscape is on the list.
BBC (any area) is a highly trafficed website.
The playing field is completely level as far as how often you can click, for all shows.
There is no statement/question about your age/location/anything.


At best, Farscape keeps winning this thing week after week, which gains it exposure, which leads people to the show and this site that might not otherwise know about it.

At worst, you waste 10 seconds of your time every day, more or less depending on your bandwidth.

I see no reason whatsoever not to vote here for farscape, every day, and thus I will continue to do so.

We should try to make Farscape the top spot on the poll for as long as there is a poll....Remember, we need to keep the show in the public eye...the more time that passes since the cancellation, the fewer polls there will be that include the show...it is up to US to not let Farscape simply fade away....These polls may not always be a vehicle for us so lets use them to our advantage while we can....

Anyone having trouble getting to the site? I'm getting a 'page not found' error from BBC News AFTER I vote. I've searched the site and gone to

and found the favorite TV program selection, but still 'page not found' after I vote. Maybe the site went down temporarily?? :(
When I go back to the site after a vote, the listing is pushed to the left and the numbers seem messed up (though farscape had 73% of 11 votes, from what I could see!)

I looked back at this site, and I was in error about the list of programs and scores being 'pushed to the left,' You go to the site, you vote, you get the page error. If you return to the site, it looks like the poll was reset: Farscape 75% of 12 votes (9), each of three shows with one vote. And your cookie gets set, just as if you voted normally. Percentage wise we look good though. :D
But I'd say there are site problems.

I sincerely doubt that the BBC will invest the time to try and search out every link. It is just a poll...since it is flexible enough to allow daily voting, I doubt they will bother playing "poll police". Besides, I, myself have only voted daily (as is allowed), with as many Farscape supporters on this site alone, we should still easily be able to stay on top without going beyond what voting rules this poll has established...we just need to get EVERYONE to vote daily....We can do this, whatever it takes, without breaking their rules, thus they should have no complaints anyway.
