I'm reading the July 2003 Previews catalogue, and they've got the Season 3 Volume 5 DVD listed. The thing is, the ep order looks like this:
I-Yensch
Dog With Two Bones
ItLD Part 1
ItLD Part 2
Just thought I'd let everyone know ahead of time. For newbies, it should go this way:
I-Yensch
ItLD Part 1
ItLD Part 2
Dog With Two Bones

I wonder if they'll put something in the DVD to explain the proper order in which the eps should be watched.:eh:
They really frelled up the season two cliffhanger.

The don't in Previews, and they show only the front cover (it's got Chiana in the fore, and of course Crichton and Aeryn in the background), so I'm not sure it says on the box itself. I doubt it will though.

I've noticed that they seem to do that a lot. I think the reason is that they like to keep the 2 and 3 parter episodes on the same disk. And no, I agree they don't give any information as to the actual order the episodes were originally shown.

How did they frell up the season two ender???

Sococlear, the end of the second season ran as such:
A Clockwork Nebari
Liars, Guns and Money Part 1
LG&M Part 2
LG&M Part 3
Die Me Dichotomy
The way ADV put it together on the DVDs was like this:
Disc 1
A Clockwork Nebari
Die Me Dichotomy
Disc 2
Liars, Guns and Money Part 1
LG&M Part 2
LG&M Part 3
If you didn't know the order ahead of time, then you would be confused. Then again, I don't think anyone here would have that problem.

When is the estimated release date for 3.5? Does anyone know?

3.4 is in August (I forget when), and Previews has the order date as September. I'd reckon mid September some time.

Don't know the exact date that it will be released, but with an educated guess, it will probably be released sometime in September.

Sad but true. I think they are stretching out their timeline to 8 weeks between releases. :cry2:

Thank you ctheokas. I watched 2.5 in the order it came on the DVD and yes it was confusing.

Here's the COVER ART and the ep. order, no out of sync of the original broadcast order, courtesy of:
http://www.rightstuf.com/1-800-338-6827/catalogmgr/fFzqpWrISYsbzJnVqL/browse/item/60639/4/1839/0
It lists the eps as (if you can get your eyes to focus that small):
I-Yensch
ItLD Part 1
ItLD Part 2
Dog With Two Bones
Which is indeed good news...
Though not as good as the show coming back....
But you get this idea.

When does the complete season 3 come out on DVD?

Since the box sets for Seasons 1 and 2 (in the US) came out toward the end of October in 2002 and 2003 respectively, I would assume that the Season 3 box set would be available in October 2004 and the Season 4 box set in October 2005.
FYI, a very reliable source told me that Farscape is a big seller at ADV and they're continually having to make additional copies because the Farscape DVDs keep flying off the shelves. I'd say things look good for additional box sets.
It probably wouldn't hurt for us to let ADV know we'd like the mini-series on DVD, too.

Thanks, I kinda thought thats when it would be but I didn't know if since they were selling so well that they would be put out a little closer together.

There actually was a difference, I think, from the Box set and the normal volumes. It seemes they at least labeled the proper order the last set of eps was to be played, even if they were still separated on DVDs. They may have also made this change in the Volume 2.5s sold later, I'm not sure. Can't get a pic up, but maybe someone else can (of the back of the Box Set 2.5).

<ENTER LORD SLOTH>
You are khor-ect Kurokeh. I finally have my season two :smokin: , and the back of the final box lists it as:
Disk 1: Clockwork Nebari
Disk 2: LG&M 1-3
Disk 1: DMD
I think most people (IF they read it and did not just throw the disk in ASAP (and I'm not certain if there is any warning on the DVD menu itself (I'd check, but I'm afraid I might not be able to restrain myself from watching the end too soon))) would not blunder into watching DMD prematurely. And even if they did, they would soon realize something was amiss with all the changes concerning Jothee, Moya and John.

Frelled it up.... Here's why:
I believe they want to include 2 parters or connecting episodes on the same disc. It can be confusing but they don't want to spark confusion I guess....
