Been a while since I posted anything, so I thought I'd do a poll. Wasn't really sure how to do a poll, so I hope this works

I enjoyed them all, but Liars, Guns and Money is clearly my favorite. The large cast. Rygel and Durka, round two (hehehe) Grunchlyk. The inexplicable eating of fingers and eyeballs. With the exception of the eerily distracting dead Wampa Stark was wearing, this was a perfect trilogy in my book. Most of my favorite episodes fell between the end of the second season through the beginning of the third.

I enjoyed them all too. Today I voted LATP. Tomorrow I might vote LGM if I could. The day after that.......

Gotta go with LGM (followed close by WSS). The cast, the acting, the action, the new twists, the old "aliens of the week" playing big parts...It could have been shown in the theaters and been a great feature!

I haven't seen any of them. I should see WSS next week. Woohoo. Only one more week to go and I finally finish season 4. I don't have cable, so I've had to wait for people to send me the eps on tape.

Season two will be coming shortly after season 4. Maybe I'll vote after I get those.

Liars Guns and Money is awesome, but i love them all. The last scene of the last part of LATP, when John and Aeryn check if they are compatible. I love tha scene.

And the We are so screwed trilogy is also great, i dunno, i wouldn't choose between them, they are different and so great in their own way :D

/me loves Farscape :D

Good poll, Wererat.

This may have been answered elsewhere - so please forgive me:

BTW this may contain spoilers....

Why is it that John and Aeryn are genetically compatible?

The only reason that John was compatible with the Sebecean Princess was the genetic contaimination inflected on her, by the her brother the Prince (Klavor?)

So, since Aeryn is Sebecean, and she and Crichton are compatible; Aeryn must have undergone genetic contamination....which she did (remember DNA Mad Scientist from season 1)...OK I just answered my own question.

Given then, that it was Pilot's DNA which led to the compatibility - does this mean that the missing link between Humans and Sebeceans are Pilot's species?

Now, Pilots and Leviathans are inter-dependant; without Leviathans, it is not possible for Pilots to do space travel - and given that Leviathans were made by the Builders, does this mean that Pilots were engineered too?

Does this mean that the link between Sebeceans and Humans is not an accident, but one of deliberate design?

Then again, it could be John and Aeryn just got lucky...if you excuse the expression...

Sawyer's Miller, maybe what made John and the princess AND John and Aeryn compatible was the fact that John was human. What I mean is maybe human genes are the sluts of the galaxy, and they're compatible with nearly every other set of genes out there. And maybe "sluts of the galaxy" was the wrong way to put it, but you know what I mean.

Personally, I loved all the trilogies, though I did vote for Liars. I think two of the best moment in all the three trilogies come from LatP, when J and A kissed at the beginning and at the very end.

LGM, it was the best, they brought back aliens from previous eps, it had just the right amount action and drama, those three eps really show the power that the neural chip had over John, and with Scorpy still being the main bad guy, its got to be my fav out the three, but WSS does follow closely in second.

Liars, Guns, and Money hands down. I love to watch it over and over, it's action packed.

Another one of these hard polls. I guess that I will pick LGM as my favorite trilogy followed closely by WSS.

I will ask this here since no one seemed to answer my original post.....

"How does one make a poll here? I tried to make one and it didn't work. I clicked poll down at the bottom and then typed my questions in the message box, but all it did was give me a running list of the choices, not a poll where one could click on a response. PLEASE HELP ME!"

Thank you! :help: :help:

I have to go with LGM.
**** A little spoil here******

:space:

First off, it leads into Die me, which to this day makes me cry (I mean how often do you see Fluffy give anyone ANYTHING, let alone give a possesion to a dead body.) and second, John singing why crawling away from the over-heating scorpy..... classic John going insane moment. Have to love it.

LATP! No doubt about it. I like political *affairs* (Can't find the correct english word). Also it had a lot of out-door scenes, which I think makes the eps feel more "alive". The Aeryn/Rygel kiss is priceless (altough mayby not for Aeryn). And I also like the Zhaan/Moya/Pilot/Kaheinu(Jonathan Hardy) story.

This triology had it all... Minus the big gun fights! :aok:

Simply because this triolgy is every element of Farscape in it:
The love story, the sacrifice of the charactors and their best traits shown, the duality of John & Aeryn's relationship, John and Scorpy's relationship, D'argo & Chiana, etc. A great "Holy Frell" moment, (when you realize Scorpy did more than just torture John while he was in the Aroura Chair,) the best tear-jerk line ever in the series ("You take care of my little girl.") the last five minutes of silence with John & Aeryn.
If I were going to introduce someone to Farscape who had never seen the show, that is the trilogy I'd use.
Also, in rewatching it, I am amazed at how Scorpy was during the trilogy. He never lies to the Moyans. His intentions about stopping the Scarrens and his actions are consistant to everything we find out about him in season four.
Damn. Why the frell is this show off the air?

Another really hard choice. I went with LGM, but I would argue that ABL, N, and THM are also a trilogy.

Remember that John wasn't compatible with another two Sebacean women he kissed (or rather they kissed him) in LATP 1.
Those kisses were tasteless.

I would have to say my favorite was We're So Screwed. John rescues Aeryn and as stated at the end of La Bomba he gets to carry a nuclear bomb to work.

I went with Look at the Princess. I enjoyed all three, but I like the earlier seasons particularly because we get to see all the relationships still forming. It kills me but I love to watch the Ben/Claudia acting in the eps....just plain wow.

Liars, Guns and Money because the action, the sets, the way the multiple storylines are woven together.

Ouroboros

It's got to be Liars guns and money for me. The second part was a little slow but the series had two of my favorite recurring characters in it, Bekhesh and Natira, plus a hefty helping of Scorpius content and background material. We also got to see Scorpy shoot his pulse pistol sideways homeboy style and Talyn blow some stuff up at the end so all in all 'twas a good day.

Now if someone could tell me how my goodliest moyan and eeeevilest PK threads got necromanced back to the first page despite no new posts in them things'll be just peachy.

Just found this poll.

I had to go with LATP. As mentioned previously, the opening and closing scenes with John and Aeryn, the one liners ("I want to talk." "I want to talk less!"), Jena Chatto, the first pulimenary<sic> snippets of information about Scorpius, scenes with John and D'Argo where it is clear that their friendship really starts to gel at this point, John letting the insanity take over him to escape the trap set by Scorpius on the orbiting barge, and I could go on and on. Just outstanding writing on all counts.

Yes, I had to agree. Which is not, I think, a criticism of the episodes that came before. It's just that Farscape had to do so much to set up the events in LGM...and then they just let them all crash into each other...it was beautiful.

I went with LGM. Farscape episodes before that were still great and unlike anything else I'd seen on TV, but I specifically remember sitting at the end of that trilogy just wow'd by the scale of it all. The sets, the special effects, the acting, the story - it was better than pretty much any movie I'd seen. It was at that moment that Farscape had reached a place in my subconcious that no other show will ever be able to reach.

I think the potential for Human prolification bodes well for evolution on a galactic scale. Not to mention our chances for taking over said galaxy.

I voted for LATP. Is this first time Braca get's his lil' butt whipped?

I voted for WSS, havn't seen LATP yet, although from what I hear, I'll love it.

WSS is cool, the whole John-terrioist thing was awesome. Not to mention his outfit, boy was I glad when they started letting him wear the black leather...

Anyways, I just liked it... Hard choice though ;)

Tough choice, wanted to vote all three, but ended up with LatP. Just the bar scene, when the first Sebacean female approaches Crichton, and Claudia's oh no you don't look, and Browder's oh yes I am, all without saying a word, just great...

Not to mention Buckwheat the XVI's speech on the progeny device, just think of all the nasty surprises I could have avoided...

What you said Frunium. LATP is a classic and the best all round out of the trilogies ... IMO.
The scene on the 'gift' ship and JC going mental as anything ... :roflmao:

I finally watched the We're So Screwed trilogy!

I thought it was great, but a few flaws keep it from beating out Liars Guns & Money. Look at the Princess was also great, but I can't stand that scene with John floating in space.

My vote goes to Liars Guns & Money.

I voted LGM trilogy, because I love the complicated relationship between John and Scorpy. I remember being so excited when they come face to face, and the whole scene invovling Scorpy's "rod" ;)

I voted for We're So Screwed - mostly because it's got loads of Scarrans in it :D . But Liars, Guns, and Money is great as well, even if there isn't a Scarran there...

I'm a WSS man, myself. I love all of the dialogue, twists, and scenes with Harvey of course. Some of my favorite lines:
"Who's Stark?"
"Another lunatic with the wrong number of eyes."

"Are we cursed? Could we be cursed?"
I just love Gigi's delivery of that line

And of course, the scene with John, Harvey, and Scorp about flowers.

And the tabletop speech.

And every time John makes a reference to his bomb (leaving a bomb on the elevator, guess what I did today, etc.)

I just love that trilogy (and, it may help that I just rewatched it).

LGM. One of the first things I ever saw of Farscape. And I love it so so much. Especially with the return of some of the species they'd run into over the years. Fun stuff.

I picked LGM. I really love the Earth trilogy (UR, Kansas, TF). Why isn't it on your poll. Sure, they don't share the same title, but they've got the "to be continued" thing going. It would probably slide in right behind LGM, but I also loved LATP. Hard to choose between those three great trilogies. WSS would come in last behind the other three.
