With the cancellation of Stargate Universe, I'm losing another show from my schedule. But perhaps someone else can point me to a really great show that I'm missing. Even some of the older shows.

I'm currently enjoying:
Fringe
Eureka
Warehouse 13
Smallville (Just started season 4)
Sopranos (In the 6th season finally!)
Hawaii Five-O (Both old and new)
Primeval (Just got into it!)
Psych

I'm gathering up some of That 70's Show and Merlin

So what does everyone else like to watch?

SU was cancelled? :( I missed that news.

Try Human Target on Fox --I recommend it highly --you won't regret watching this one! Lots of action, decent stories, good plots. I love Guerrero! Human Target is the one show I try to not ever miss these days.

That 70's Show is hilarious. That was my group, I had the car (it was NOT a station wagon, but still...) , it was my friends basement, and there were 5 or 6 of us who were always together. We drove around, played pranks, did a lot of silly stuff. So, That 70's Show hit home for me.
I especially loved the episode where Eric is stoned and his parents are yelling at him and he sees the wallpaper behind them scrolling on down, so funny!

The Walking Dead. And for light entertainment, NCIS, Bones, Burn Notice, Criminal Minds. I too am hoping Fringe will survive.

Dr. who the new series. Interested in Fringe, but afraid to start something that just moved to Friday night on a network.

especially when that network is Fox. That is a placement that usually means the end for a show on Fox

Burn Notice is another really good show.
Lights Out is a new show on FX, the first episode was pretty good.
The Walking Dead when it is on again, it will be a few weeks.

Another thumbs up over here for Walking Dead.

Watched first episodes for *Harry's Law* and *The Cape*, but don't have enough to go on to recommend either of them yet. Watched the alien-abduction and vampire episodes of *Castle* where Fillion makes references to his *Firefly* days but I don't think it's a show to miss work or school over.

OT: For DVD's, I strongly recommend the films *Moon*, *Kick-Ass*, and *Scott Pilgrim*.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

Human Target - I've now watched the first episode. An interesting show. I've got a few more episodes ready to watch, and I hope it continues to hold up.

The Walking Dead - Yes, that show is great! I watched all 6 episodes, and look forward to the next season. I thought the last episode was a little bit disappointing, though.

Fringe - Another great show! It took me a few episodes to get interested; just didn't seem interesting until it got going. I love the way Walter will switch topics without warning and think of food while looking over a dead body -- something so wrong, yet funny at the same time.

That 70's Show - Well... I've seen a few episodes here and there. I always enjoyed it, but never watched it regularly. And I've been wanting to watch that Star Wars episode. (Which puts their characters just a bit older than I was at that time...)

Bones - I've caught up with the show. I liked the earlier episodes, but I think it may have jumped the shark somewhere. They focus too much on the character's relationships instead of the interesting cases that they investigate.

Doctor Who - Oh yes. The new Doctor reminds me of Troughton at times, but the show lacks the drama that the original series had. I still watch them, but it seems like a self parody at times.

I'm going to stay away from any more crime shows for awhile. I've already got quite a few lined up, and it's not really a favorite genre. I've got the Ellery Queen series ready to watch, as well as the Rockford Files and McMillan and Wife.

My father just pointed out a show called No Ordinary Family that looks promising. I'm going to give it a chance. A family develops super powers after a plane accident. That could be fun.

On PBS there's a series called *Pioneers of Television*. Last week they did an hour long episode on early Science Fiction, including interviews from people involved with *Star Trek*, *Lost in Space* and *Twilight Zone*. Nimoy, Shatner, and Nichols were all in there too.

Don't know if the streaming-video is available at the PBS website (The PBS website locks up today when I go there.)

I am enjoying "The Cape". The first episode was very superficial - funny, but not deep. It was OK entertainment. The second episode though, surprised me by digging pretty deep. We will see if it manages to maintain a balance between funny and deep 'cause if they do then I will continue to watch. Besides - Summer Glau!

Really enjoying "Harry's Law". Kathy Bates rocks. :)

Oh right, Castle with Nathan Fillion --how could I forget to mention that!!
Nate makes anything fun to watch --he's terrific!

Oh yes. I'm following that. I'm not much of a western fan, but I really enjoyed that episode. Looking forward to this weeks episode about crime dramas.

I'm sticking with Human Target and No Ordinary Family. They look pretty good so far. That 70's Show is fun, too.

I'm not getting home from work again till after midnight, so I'm missing prime-time TV almost every night.

But I'm watching TNG season #2 reruns every night on station WGN-Chicago at 1am PST.

Charlie Rose is on at midnight on PBS, if I get home early enough, and if lucky, there will be a nice and nasty brawl on the TV show *Cheaters*.

But now that Vinita Nair is gone from *World News NOW*, I gotta be content with the comedy from late night TV commercials like those 2 Metro PCS Indians (*HOLY Shish-KA-BOB !!!*), GEICO (*Do Woodchucks chuck WOOD ???*) and Titan Auto Insurance (*Now you can *A-F-F-O-R-D* to get your hair done every week !!!*)

For a good laugh, I have really enjoyed the animated series "Archer". I may be biased because I really love H. Jon Benjamin. "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" I found to also be very compelling. The series is like "300" and HBO's "Rome" had a litter of pups. Plus as a painter of nudes, I love all the "classical" beauties. For the past several months, I have been watching Netflix's library of MST3K episodes. I'm impressed with how many of those I had never watched before.

'Human Target' and 'No Ordinary Family' are now cancelled... Bummer!

Oh well. I still have quite a few episodes of each yet to watch. And it looks like
'Fringe' will be coming back.

I started watching 'The Deadliest Catch' at the advice of a co-worker, and finding it very interesting. I don't much care for the 'reality shows,' but I find myself being drawn in by how much they will go through in order to catch crabs.

Just started *Big Bang Theory*. Favorite episodes so far:

When that "Bazinga" guy meets the long-haired girl with glasses for the first time.

And when the "Monkees" guy makes a mechanical arm, decides to "play" with it, then has to go to the E.R. to get it detached. About as much fun as that South-Park episode about the Time-share Presentations. :)

Yes, I found 'Big Bang Theory' as well. I'm certainly glad I gave it a chance as it is an excellent series. Whoever writes the show really has a good sense of comedy. I don't get the 'Bazinga' reference, but the 'Monkees' guy must be Wolowitz.

Okay, just looked up Bazinga. Oh my... I never noticed Sheldon using that word...

I should of given *Big Bang Theory* more of a chance when it first started up. Sheldon Cooper now belongs right up there with Urkel (Family Matters) and Kramer (Seinfeld), IMO.
:)
Tried watching *Vampire Diaries* and *Once upon a Time* but didn't get very far. Now trying out *Grimm* and am waiting for *The River* for next week. :)

I like Grimm a lot. I would give the BBC's Being Human a shot too. I loved it. I tried the American version after I saw the British but I hated it right away. If you have Netflix both versions are up on the instant watch.

I haven't watch television since Farscape was on. But I always hear through people. These are my recommendations for a picky person. (Nothing can top Farscape still).

Game of Thrones - Truely a good renditions of Martin's books. I am eagerly awaiting the second season in April.

The Walking Dead - AMC's high production quality zombie apocalypse show. Add another thumbs up from me.

30Rock - Comedic, short, and Tina Fey's work. Truly brilliant stuff.

Are you into animation/cartoons?

Adventure Time, if so.

30Rock & The Office go together pretty well, IMO- But I will give Game of Thrones a try when I get the chance.

There's something called Downton Abbey over on PBS. Here it's on Sunday nights when I'm usually still at work. Haven't watched it yet because British speech tends to be more difficult for me (that movie The King's Speech is a good example) but some of the people around here are raving about it.
