FARSCAPE rescued from oblivion?
Online report ignites speculation for the series' rescue

IGN FilmForce may have just made the day -- make that the year -- for fans of The Sci-Fi Channel's cancelled Farscape series. According to a FilmForce source, plans are afoot for Henson Productions to make a four-hour Farscape mini-series that would resolve all the unresolved storylines left behind at the conclusion of the show's fourth season (and there were a lot of 'em.) But would such a wrap-up appear on The Sci-Fi Channel or elsewhere on cable or network television?

A good chunk of Farscape's principal cast members and creative staff will be at the San Diego Comic-Con this week where they will host a 90-minute panel on Friday. Undoubtedly the FilmForce rumor will have to be addressed at some point during the panel and we'll be in the audience to hear what the answer will be. Until then, cross your digits and hope that the luck for Moya's crew has finally turned around.

It is duplicate, and at this point is rumor, not information.

Nothing was announced at Comic Con. What they said was that a 4-hour miniseries is just as much of a possibility as a series, a movie, or anything else. They said that Farscape will come back at some point, it's just a matter of time and money.
