Ok guys. May I have your attention please? Hello? People?

HEY STOP!!!!!!!!

That's better:D

Ok now that I have your attention I just want to point out that since Wednesday, when the mini-series rumour first broke, we've all been jazzed and wired like Rygel on chocolate:D

Gee, I wonder why, what with the rumour, and energy in general coming out of Comicon, and the non-answer from Ben on the rumours, and just the general shenanigans of the Save Farscape crew there, it's a small wonder that our keyboards have not become permanent extensions to our fingertips:D

But I just want to remind everybody, that as exciting all the energy and vibes and possible inuendo concerning Farscape coming back, we are still running a marathon, not a sprint. So everybody sit back a moment and breath in DEEPLY. Now let it out. Again. One more time.

There, better?:D

Now that I've got you to pause momentarily, I just want you all to remember that we can't loose our momentum on the various projects ongoing to be sure we get our show back.

First off, we are right in the middle of the con season. Gen Con is this Thursday, Scapercon is the following week. Dragoncon is Labor Day weekend. There are others. We have Save Farscape booths at these events and the organizers need your help to help man them if you are local. If not local, contributions to the organizers would still be greatly appreciated. I am still taking donations for the Farscape action figures to go to these cons. Please see this thread for info: http://www.watchfarscape.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12737
To help out with Gen Con see this thread: http://www.watchfarscape.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12556
I believe DRD2001 is organizing the booth for Dragoncon, contact her if you can help. I also believe that the Chicago 'Scapers are manning the Scapercon booth I believe you can contact VoY or check out their website, http://www.chicagoscapers.com/, for info.

Ongoing projects are the Library project being run by Mickie. Check out this thread for info: http://www.watchfarscape.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10656
The Military project run by Twich is at: http://www.watchfarscape.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9860
In a related note, the Los Angeles Public Library has requested 70 copies of Farscape. Please help us raise funds or contribute to meet this request: http://www.watchfarscape.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12945

Requests for funds from the Where's My Riot fund come on a continuing basis so it is important that we keep money coming into it. Hence a thread I put up listing a number of cybershops who contribute directly to the fund with every purchase you make. And in the process you get some REALLY cool things in the bargain! Check out http://www.watchfarscape.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12935 and see what these shops have to offer!

Ok, you may now resume your interrupted insanity:bgb:

edited at DoA's request,

check out this webpage for all the interested networks in Farscape to whom you can write to. Letter writing is STILL very important to this campaign: http://www.watchfarscape.com/campaign/newnetworks.php

edited at blue's request,

Please, let's not forget the TV Advertising Project either at http://www.watchfarscape.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12076 . This is REAL important too!

Kurt_eh,

Are you guys doing a booth for World Con? If so, I can take donations for REAL cheap Farscape action figures you can raffle away.

Wonderful post -- thanks for pulling it all together, jeff! Can you add a link to all of the network addresses too? Letter writing continues to be just as, if not more, important as ever -- particularly from new fans or people who have not written before (or in a very long time)!

Jeffrab. I've been trying to get some intel out of the Savefarscape canada crew. The SFC crew are mostly located in the Greater Toronto Area, and I'm way out West in Calgary...

Perhaps JA_Shipper, or Davia, or ELL, or TBZF, or Bandana Girl might be better able to answer.

I've edited the original message with that info:aok:

Kurt_eh, I'll try to get in touch with one of them and find out.

thanks

Jeff--also remember the TV project--donations are needed to get our SaveFarscape.com Sponsorship of Farscape into the nationwide broadcast.

Hey blue,

part of the reason I started this thread so that we can get posted in one place all of the different projects currently underway. I couldn't possibly remember them all:goof:

So, has anyone forwarded this info to Renay San Miguel at CNN yet? It would be great to have a story on Save Farscape on CNN around the time the Henson's official get their company back or around the anniversary of the cancellation heard round the world... :D

Also posted in the Torcon Thread:

To my knowledge there are no current plans for a table; we are all kind of tapped out.

First there was Toronto Trek a week and a half ago, there is Scapercon at the end of the month (quite a few of the members are going, but not me) and other members of the group have other plans in August. It doesn't appear that any of us will have free time between now and then.:(

Just a quick comment. We may not want to ask anymore about potentional farscape mini series. Obviously henson is trying to keep any plans for that low. if we keep asking about it we could screw up the negotiations...
