Tremors - Not a whole lotta shakin' goin' on

According to TelevisionWeek and TVweek.com, SciFi channel has decided not to produce any additional episodes of Tremors due to soft ratings. Seems the ratings dropped off from 1.6 and 2.0 down to 1.1. :rollin:

The latest ratings for Tremors for the June 27 episode was 0.9. Before it went on hiatus for two months the ratings had dipped to 0.8 (or was it 0.6? I can't remember). Either way, it could never hold on to the ratings it got for the premier episode. Every week it dropped. Oh well, I guess it's time for skiffy to bring on them "Dead Lawyers"!

Shipscat I saw it in the print version its in the News Briefs so maybe its in that section.

SciFi channel also has TWO full page ads - one for the return of Taken in December and one for Battlestar Galactica.

"Save Tremors" movement? You have got to be kidding. That low budget dren was.... stinking dren. I watched one episode the other day.... waiting for Stargate. Tremors sucks the big one.

Battlestar Galactica is supposed to be a mini-series. I would make a suggestion for another remake I would like to see, but I do not believe Sci-fi is capable of handling themselves as a Science Fiction channel. And the comment was right- They are becoming a horror channel instead. The first scare was cancelling Farscape.
