The Space Channel is going to air footage from the San Diego Comic Con convention today sometime -- possibly on hypaSpace at 6:54pm ET, maybe elsewhere? sorry, I have no further "when where" details (if someone has them, post 'em!). The Space Channel interviewed the cast on hand, and even took a few sly shots of certain costumed Scapers that we know and love.
We need you all to do two things:
1) Watch -- and thank the Space Channel for the attention to Farscape! :D http://www.spacecast.com/
2) Can someone try to get this on tape? If you do manage to tape it, can you contact one Tiriel or any of the SF.com staff?
thanks very muchly -- pass it on!

Here's the discussion thread on the segment from the Space BB

Mark is one of the producers over there. How cool is that? A station producer who actually talks to his "customers!"

Yes, please! Tape all the dirty details! I. Must. Know. All! :D
I know Ricky talked to them for at least ten minutes, he's always a great interview :) And I know they also talked to Dave and Wayne and I believe I saw them speak to Jonathan, too :)
Waiting in strained anticipation!

Oops. Due to "technical errors" (I'm guessing someone forgot to take off their mitts and hit the wrong button ;) ) the Farscape HypaSpace never aired yesterday.
They're looking into what happened.
I recall something like this happening when Two Towers came out. They advertised a 1/2 hour Hypa-Special and two weeks running, they fumbled the ball. What makes it funny, was that after the second fumble, they put together a segment appologising for the second time, and in the background is the "programming guy" asleep at his desk :D
A certain other channel would just sit there and :spin: :D

Okay, they're going to run the footage today, and I passed along the plea for someone with clip capabilities to record the spot! (I can record but cannot make clips. :( )

Saw someone comment about Mark...he was so cool. He stopped by the table for like 20 minutes and we chatted for a while. He really, really loves Farscape and the campaign. And I gushed about how amazing the SPACE Channel is, how lucky the Canadians are to have a channel that actually shows science fiction. It makes me all warm and fuzzy when people who actually love scifi are in charge of a scifi channel.

The weekend ones usually show all the segments seen durring the week. So there will be two more chances! One Saturday and one Sunday. Check your local listings for the Space times (or go to the hypaspace site above ;) )
Kerlin, I'm glad to hear that! Mark is great with us over at the space boards, and has patience that would put scorpy to shame :D Mark is one of the key people fighting for 'Scape over at Space. I'm looking forward to TORCON/Worldcon, to get the cance to meet him and thank him persoally for his support.
Jonathan Llyr also joins us on many threads as well, but he's more of a trekkie than a scaper. Once upon a time, he wrote several award winning commercials for enterprise, starring himself as an anti-trek protestor fighting the fight to keep soo much trek from being on space.
One of them, he's in a bar ranting about how there's so much trek on tv, and that all trekies are just a bunch of loosers that dress up and go to cons and look like idiots, only to turn around and see a table full of klingons, andorians, and borg. It cuts to the promo (date/time) then back to the bar where there's a circle of costumed fans in a big circle singing the "classikc fight music" da na NA NA NA NA na da da da DA :D

I never did go back to see if they posted it...
