I just read "dpamac's" remarks which gave me pause....

I have the first season boxed set, they're the only way I've watched the first season.
After visiting a web rental site that has Farscape seasons one, two, and three I see season one has the dvd episodes in a different order.
Can someone explain?

For the first two seasons there are two different episode orders. Production order is the order in which the powers that be intended them to be shown. But sometimes the broadcaster (Sci Fi in the U.S.) decides that they'd rather show them in a different order. For example, they may want the first few episodes of a season to be more straightforward and with fewer dependencies on earlier episodes. So that's broadcast order, based on the date when each episode was first shown.

You can find a chart of the two orders on Thinkum's website, A Snurcher's Guide To Farscape (http://www.snurcher.com/episodes/)

Hank, I tip my hat to you man!
Your explanation for the "different order" is very enlightening.
This opens up a brand new way to watch Farscape! (for me and I suspect some others)
I took your direction to "A Snurcher's Guide to Farscape" in Thinkum's Website. It's a frelling encyclopedia! Really; it is a wonderful listing of the Index of Episodes and more. ( go to Hank's reply to access Guide)
Sooo, I have great excuse to get my Farscape friends that still need indoctrination over to watch again!
I'm loving it!!:D :rollin:
