NBC's ordering "Transylvania," a new series from "The Mummy" team of Stephen Sommers and Bob Ducasy, set in the same "universe" as their movie "Van Helsing," which is coming out next summer. I bet you dollars to donuts episodes will be re-aired on SciFi after airing on NBC.

If nothing else, this shows NBC is willing to get into the genre game again... albeit when it serves to cross-promote Universal's movie interests.
