Make sure the pot of water has enough water in it. Add a little oil to the water to relieve surface tension. After starts to boil rapidly, add salt (approx. 1-2 teaspoons) to help keep the pasta from sticking. Once the water's back to a rapid boil, add the pasta. You can break the pasta in half, too. Stir on occasion to prevent sticking. The key is boiling the fettucini "al dente" style (stop & strain while there's still a little resistance to it when you bite into a piece).

No worries, I think to myself...probably just another side effect of the recent hacking, right :yes:? Imagine my surprise when I log onto an entirely remodeled board :eek:! I'm not complaining, of course, but I used to be able to navigate this place :blindfold. This new format was like jumping into the water not knowing whether you'll sink or swim. There was nothing else for it :no:.

But, I put on the :camo: paint, donned my :ninja: outfit, and dove right in :snorkel:. I took the tour, clicked buttons, and found that this format is just as easy as, if not more so than, the old.

I now sit testing the new smilies :cookiemon, because people know I just :love: smilies. Which is why you're now reading this bit of inane posting. If you are, in fact, still reading this. Which would surprise me greatly. I don't know what to do with this one except to revel in its Aussie-ness: :kanga:.
