I've watched several already, The Mullets, Whoopi, Happy Family, Two and Half men, Eve, I'm With Her, Rock Me Baby, Coupling, Run of the House, Luis, Hope and Faith, All about the Andersons and one or two more I can't think of their names.

The ones I think that will make, and I base this only on the premise that I like them. I'm most likely wrong, cause Titus and some other shows were cancelled, and I like them too.

Happy Family
Two and Half Men
Run of the House

That's my list.

The ones I don't like, but might watch from time to time, are

The Mullets
I'm with Her

I have no use for the rest of them.

Scubs is back on 10-02-03 at 8:32, don't miss it.

All I can say is that you are much more patient than I am. I think you should get freebies for even giving 1/8th of those a snowball's chance in Sunnyvale. Kudos!

P.S. So whoopi was as steaming as I suspected?

whoopi has to be the most UNWATCHABLE television show ever. I almost feel embarrassed for the actors... almost

Whoopi's bad; bad premise, bad dialogue, bad performances. Just bad.

Coupling is quite possibly the worst new show of the season. They took a crass but funny Brit original and sucked all the life out of it. The dialogue of the first episode was mostly the same as the original, which I have on DVD. But everything's wrong. The actors are wrong, the pacing is wrong (squeezing 30 minutes of material into 22 plus commercials), the filming is wrong (the original wasn't the Lucy-style "three cameras on a stage"), the laugh track is intrusive beyond belief!

NBC has promoted the heck out of this one. And it premiered at the bottom of the Nielsens with half the ratings of its lead in. Not good at all.

Really? Thanks for the ratings update. I LOVE the original..and don't get why they need to "translate" it to the US. It's brilliant on its own and doesn't need any "help" from a nice big network. I hope it does tank..and the original flies through the roof. :D

I like Whoopi (the person) as a comedienne, but I really don't like the show. I watched the first 2 eps, that's it, no more, I'm beaten.

As far as having patience, that's not it, I watch every new show once, minimum, out of curiousity, then if I like it, which is not likely, I'll keep watching it, but it has nothing to do with patience. Sickness, maybe.

I didn't mind that one too much. It's based on the guy who married Brooke Shields..and he said a lot of those stories are pretty much the way it happened. I thought it was kind of cute.

I also liked Hope and Faith. Call me old fashioned..but I LIKE a sitcom where the couple is HAPPILY married...and the family drives each other crazy, but really does LOVE each other. I was pleasantly surprised at that one.
