Was it me, or did not very much happen in this ep?
I did :lol when Syd put on the gloves in the theater.
Why is Voughn coming back to the CIA?? Isn't Mrs. Voughn suspicous that he wants to come back barely a week after his dead lover returns to life? Ok, I'm still urked ar Voughn for accepting Sydney's death at face value. I'm glad that he stood up for his choices though. They also seem to allow anyone and everyone to come back to the CIA.
The support group seemed pretty lame, and pretty unsupportive at that. "Feeling bad, don't worry, it's going to get worse" Feh.
The scene in the bathroom was nice, I hope that the last of that guy we ever see. He was just too annoying and incompetent. I do wonder why Sydney isn't in jail, or at least fired/suspended after her behavior last week and yesterday. Villians are much more interesting when they are competent, or at least potent.
Stark: It was nice to see someone flabbergasted by Sydney's return. Those two actors really do play nicely off each other.
Jack: The AIM conversation with Irena was just too cute. Even if Jack was shouting the whole thing. Why didn't he tell anyone that Sydney was alive? At least Irena? She wouldn't have cared about the Russian guy. Also there was definitely

I did like this ep - at least Vaughn finally told Syd how he felt after she "died", so that she knows he didn't just pass it off as meaningless. It's going to be hard for me to hate his new wife - I loved her on Thieves with John Stamos! I agree that the whole support group thing was kind of pointless. I'm curious if we will get to see Will ever again - did I just miss the fact that they had put him in witness protection?

No, I don't think you missed it (or if you did, so did I). I think last night was the first time they actually mentioned where Will is now.
I knew right away that the NSC agent at the end was Vaughn's wife, and I'm hoping that they make her likable--just to complicate things even more. I was happy to see Sark back; I've always thought he and Sydney might make an interesting romantic pairing, despite the fact that they hate each other's guts . . . or maybe that's just my twisted imagination. And Sydney as a biochem student cracked me up :rollin:

I don't think the support group was pointless, I think it will be significant. Haven't you watched any UFO movies? They sit around, tell thier tales, then solve the riddle. I beleive that this part of the scenario, she will get some valuable information at some point, when she returns to the group. If I'm wrong, then this post never happened, and there will be no memory of it happening.

LOL Thirdeye!!!!!
Well, Matt Roush said something in his column about Will coming back, but not being a continuing character in the script anymore. Or something along those lines.
Also...I don't think Vaughn is completely out of the CIA or that he ever has been. With a wife who is involved in NSC...and such close ties STILL remaining to the CIA...I just don't buy it. They wouldn't let him just come back into the fold without some major re-training and updating...and I doubt they would let him right back into a mission with Sydney...I just *hope* that he hasn't been out of the whole thing for the whole time. It would help in the suspension of disbelief thing.
I've always enjoyed Alias and been willing to forgive them some things..but I am finding myself getting grumpy about TOO much suspension of disbelief these days. *sigh* I hope. I hope. I hope. (And I'll still watch cause it IS intelligent television.) Just watching with hope of something big happening soon.

:lol
I actually ment that that the group wasn't much use in helping Syndey readjust to losing two years out of her life, rather than coming in handy plot-wise. I think you're right on that one.

Is it me, or is Alias different this year?
For some reason it seems off so far...
I dunno. its only been 2 episodes...
and I'm disappointed about Will! He was one of my favorite characters! and I always felt like they were always setting it up for there to be something between him and Sydney eventually...
That sucks if he's not going to be a regular character anymore.

I feel the same way clientSocket...about the whole season. I keep waiting for it to feel like Alias.....*sigh* Maybe I expect too much. That could be it.
I MISS FARSCAPE!
Phew okay....better. A little.
