I've seen 4 or 5 eps and I like it too. I thought it was a stupid concept the first time I saw it. I think the first ep I saw was the the one where they built a ten foot Tiki God in somebody's living room, complete with fire shooting out of its month. I couldn't imagine why anyone would ever let someone do that to their home. How could you live there? How could you ever sell it? I still feel that way sometimes. But I keep watching because the people they find to do the work are pretty interesting characters (and so is the host) and some of the stuff they do is so outrageous. My dream is for them to somehow convince Norm Abrahms (This Old House, New Yankee Workshop) to come on the show. Tha would be hysterical. Mr. Zen and the Art of Woodworking on the Monster House.

I know...I thought that was incredible too...but that is what those people wanted...they seemed excited.
My hubby and I loved the Jetsons house too with the tubes all the way through it for sending "Inner house mail"!!!
The Zen house definitely had the coolest work crew. They finished in enough time to tell Steve THEY wanted to do the decorating too! They were awesome!
I just love Steve. My hubby LOVES it when Steve gets in someone's face...cause he does it so matter of fact! :lol
I am definitely addicted. I can't wait to see what they do next.
I saw on the website they are looking for someone interested in having an Elvis house. :rollin:

Hi Twichy..
Yes, I watch it religiously every Monday night! That and Monster Garage.
Anybody up for a home remodeled to resemble the inside of Moya? You could include Pilot's den, convert the garage to a
launch bay complete with a Prowler or Farscape 1 mock-up! :D

I watch it with the sound off. The bitchy, posturing men turn me off. Way off. I wish they would focus more on the how-to aspect and not on the infantile bickering between the crew.

I don't like it... cause it is decent concept that fails in the execution.

You got to explain that.
I like the show. I don't love it. I usually fall asleep during it, and have to watch it the next day after work. I really like some of the concepts they have come up with. I wouldn't allow them to do my home however, nope, not gonna do it.
It's a lot better than trading places and while you were out, those shows are just way to ............. um. ... ... ... cheesy

But it always seems like one of the guys is lazy or argues with the others... etc. If I wanted to watch that... I would work with my brothers.
