Bravo gets Keen Eddie....

Matt Roush...our beloved TV Guide afficianado has put this at the end of his rant on the loss of Boomtown:


On a happier note, NBC's cable sibling Bravo reportedly has acquired all 13 episodes of Fox's summer reject Keen Eddie and will run them all, including the handful that Fox neglected to show, even after promising but failing to bring it back in the late summer. This comic-mystery gem, about an appealingly scruffy New York detective transplanted to London, was another example of a show that died prematurely from network disdain and neglect. There may no prospect for new episodes of Eddie, but at least the show's vocal fan base will be able to see the entire series. These days, you have to take what you can get.


There may BE a prospect for new episodes if we write letters. *sigh* More letters...Boomtown....less quality television. What is the world coming to?

As I said in another thread: we can only hope they'll show the episodes in the order they were written. Fox really frelled that up. :grr:

I think Fox showed Keen Eddie in the proper order, they just skipped some episodes.

This is certainly welcome news. Keen Eddie was the only show I've seen that was nearly as smart as Farscape. And THIS time I'll have my tape machine set!!

There were big frelling gaps in the order -- which you can see in every tag scene where he sticks a matchbox on his map of London. They went from two, to few, to a few more, to a frelling lot suddenly.
