Sc-Fi Not Finishing Season 4 what the hess??

You know I am new to Farscape. Got into it when Sci-fi was still showing it weeknights at 10pm mid 1st season when I joined in on this great show. So, someone suggested I stick with it and I did. We finally get into the 4th season, which as we all know was being shown every Sunday instead of nightly during the week! I get to a Perfect Murder and all of a sudden find out they have replaced my Sunday nights with that dumb ass Steven Spielberg show! I am so upset! I can't even finish out the last season! Finally this whole Aeryn and Crichton thing is starting to look promising and they cust me off! Then they decide to do a Marathon in OCT but they are starting with Season 1 all over again! So I needed to bitch because now I am not going to be able to finish season 4 which still has 14 Episodes to go! UGH! Frelling Dren! Does anyone have any idea if they are ever going to pick up where they left off or do I have to wait until they decide to release season 4 on dvd???

Is that part of the daytime rotation? In the UK they are on Kansas right now! I am so bummed! But alas I just purchased Season 1 and 2 and am now looking to get 3...

Yes that does suck! :confused: I felt things were looking up with the latest rumors and now Sci-Fi pulls this crap! I am still upset! I've gone and bought all 3 seasons on dvd in the last month! Season 3 should arrive shortly! Do you have any idea why they released 2.5 the way they did with Die Me Dichotomy on disc 1 instead of disc 2. I realize Liars, Guns and Money was a 3 parter but they could have fit it on Disc 1 or put A clockwork Nebari on 3.4. I was so confused, I realized I missed something! Anyway so 4.1 by mid december? Not the whole thing right?

That's what they say, but nothing shows as a pre-order or anything on Amazan.com .. what the farscape pro should do is plan a tv movie, get several netowkrs to show it (at different dates and all) (upn, abc, sci-fi etc) and see who would be willing to take it up on a 2 to 3 season contract. My opinion anyways...

It's my understanding that 4.1 will be released in the US on Dec. 2 and that it contains the first five episodes of Season 4 (Crichton Kicks, What Was Lost, Parts 1 and 2, Lava's a Many Splendored Thing, and Promises).

I share your frustration with the Sci Fi Channel. I started watching the show recently on DVD and was counting on Skiffy to take me through Season 4. When I realized they weren't going to show all of them, I had to resort to other means. :ewink: At any rate, I think we just have to hope they resume the S4 reruns in December once Taken is over.

Oh, and the same thing happened to me with LGM and Die Me Dichotomy. Talk about confusion; I couldn't for the life of me figure out where Jothee had come from! :confused: Luckily, I had the fans online to sort things out for me.

SciFi has always tried to make it hard to watch their channel. They frequently (and I believe they did it with Farscape originally) air episodes out of order. It begins to make the shows very confusing.

Yep, that's right! I found it listed for pre-order at bestprices.com (for $22.65 or something close to that, plus around $3 for shipping).

I've been checking other sites too, I usually order from deepdiscountdvds.com ($23.99, no shipping), but it's not listed for pre-order there yet.

I wrote Sci Fi to thank them SO MUCH (doesn't hurt to be nice) for showing the marathon in October, and then oh-so-politely asked when they would be showing the rest of s4, which still had 14 episodes to go! Also told them there wasn't much to interest me at SciFi anymore, and that I had pretty much stopped watching except for when they show Farscape.

You know I was looking on ebay and people are pre-selling the dvds for season 4 with no gurantees for the release date and people are biidding! I thought no way! I'm probably going to wait until I know for sure they are being released! Also I would like to purchase the whole season not just 4.1. Thank the goddess someone else was confused! For the life of me I couldn' figure out how the hez Jothee got there either nor how or when stark returned!

For anyone who wants to e-mail SciFi to complain and/or ask when they'll be showing more season 4 eps, the address to contact is program@www.scifi.com :D.

My personal theory is that they're scared of showing the end of s4 because they figure each time they show "Bad Timing" and it ends with that "To Be Continued", there'll be a fresh surge of outrage and all their fax machines will get broken again ...

You know, you are probably absolutely right! They would definitely rial up the newbies like myself, not that we weren't already pissed off! I didn't even know it was cancelled when I started watching it....I was devistated when I found out! I'm still feeling a major loss!
