Just curious, would it work for, say, Cafeshops, or anyone else capable or willing to check into buying a bulk order of Gigi's new single "Poison" for resale. Peacetime Productions http://www.n8music.com/gigiptp.html (http://) has mentioned that thay would be willing to discount the cost on an order of 150 or more. If the discount is enough, then with the cost of shipping and handling, and some for a donation to the fund maybe it might still be a good deal, or at least a way to raise money for one of the funds. The current cost if ordering from Peacetime is $20 plus $7 (minimum) shipping (in aussie dollars) per CD, that comes out to $18.66 (US) total. If anyone thinks this is doable, great! If not I'll get my order in for my copy ASAP.

That's an interesting possibility..of course, even at a substantial discount 150 would still be a lot of money.

When and where do they mention that they might do a bulk discount?

I've contacted Peacetime and they have e-mailed me back and would be willing to discount the price of each CD to $17 (aussie) including shipping and post. This is down from $20 each plus $10 post. In US dollars thats $11.75 down from $18.66 each. Of course in addition to the $11.75 there would be a shipping and handling charge plus I think extra to go to the Fund. I forwarded this e-mail to the "contact us" address at the bottom of this page, I don't know if thats correct, if anyone knows better please let me know!

:D ALSO: Peacetime said they will also include 10 CD's autographed by Gigi for fund raising purposes (auctions, competition, etc)!!

Unfortunately I personally cannot undertake this myself but if someone out there has the means to make this happen then that would be great.
In the end it might be difficult to get the price down a lot, but if you're thinking about buying a copy anyway a chunk of what your paying would go toward the fund.

So if you're interested, maybe 150 (or more;)) of us could make this happen !!

The way to do this is to come up with a workable plan (which it looks like you're most of the way there) and apply to the FWA for funds to do this.

Now, are you saying that the CD would be discounted from thirty dollars over all (cost plus shipping and handling) to 17 dollars (cost plus shipping and handling) in Australian dollars? Or are you saying that the cost will change only three OZ dollars apiece? And the shipping and handling remains the same?

To be more specific about a plan-if the numbers worked out so that people could get the CD from us for a little less or the same as they can from Peacetime (their benefit being that they've sold 150 at a shot, and don't have to do as much selling, packaging and shipping) and we add a few dollars to the fund for each one, and someone is willing to do the shipping (which is a LOT of work), you could apply to the FWA for funds to go ahead and purchase the CDs.

The individual price as listed in Aussie dollars is: $17 then $10 for postage. Thats a total in US dollars of $18.66.
Peacetime will price each (if 150 or more are bought) at $17 total postage included. Thats about $11.75 in US dollars.
