Sydney:
* Loved the hair. I want the hair she was wearing last night with all the waves and the braids.
* I caught something on the 'Previously on's that I missed the first time around. When Sydney was talking to Stark, you could see her reflection in the glass. Or rather you could see half of her face reflected, the other half was black. Nice symbolism.
*Non-Suspension of disbelief moment. There is no way in hell you can dive into a hotel pool from 20-odd stories up and not break your neck. Sorry, there's no way it's going to be deep enough. (/minor quibble).
*I actually thought that Syd was being very honest with Vougn by telling him that she was, in fact, keeping secrets from him rather than just blowing him off.
*I've got no problem with her stabbing Vougn at the end, better she stabs him in a non-fatal mannor, than have someone else do the job properly. Of course he's going to survive.

Vougn:
* How did he know how Syd reacted to being addressed as Julia anyway? You can't see a double-take through an audio link anyway.
* And how did he manage to get himself captured? Wasn't the van door locked?

Jack:
*I loved the whole first scene where he's trying to tame Syd's obsession with the video.
*I didn't like where he turned the video in to Dixon without telling Syd first. Syd wanted to do it anyway, and it would have been much better if they had marched in together to confess. I'm really wondering what he's up to.

Dixon:
*Still boring.
* And not too bright in this episode. Sending Syd into deep cover against the Covenant is possibly the single stupidest thing I've ever seen anyone do in this series. They had her for 2 years and she has no idea who's going to recognize her and who isn't. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Slone:
*He's enjoying tormenting Lauren way too much. Nobody hurts people with the truth the way he does.
*I'm enjoying watching him torment Lauren way too much.

Weiss:
* Still cute "Get over yourself, nobody points a mic like I do" hehehe.

Lauren:
* Not much of her this episode, but its nice to that she recognizes blatant manipulation when she sees it.
*I really want her and Syd to become best friends and double team Vougn, that would be a lot of fun.

Eh...I'm still in and out. There are good parts...but not enough of the "OH MY GOSH" stuff. (IMO)

I DID like Sarc last night...and I loved the ending. Syd leaving Vaughn out there...LOL. One of those..."She's gonna do it....she's NOT gonna do it! She can't! SHE DID! She did it!" That's the stuff I miss from Alias.

I'm not a big Sark fan. However I was actually sort of hoping that he'd recognize Syd just to see what his reaction would be.

My biggest gripe abou this season is that they've stripped Dixon of all personality. Any actor could stand there and parrot his lines and it would all be the same. There's no indication that the two of them spent years watching each others backs and pulling each other's fat out of the fire.

Unless it's a fake Dixon who has been imported from a wormhole. After all..who knows what the Ancients have been up to since Farscape was canceled? :lol

The divers at La Quebrada

They dive from the cliffs from up to about 150 feet, into the swells of the channel that is only about 6 feet deep...

edited to correct the spelling of La Quebrada

Realism aside, I loved the diamond necklace heist sequence. It reminded me a bit of Bond in its brazen implausibility and just plain fun antics. I'm glad that the show doesn't take itself too seriously, even as it also manages to be poignant at times.

Twish, I agree that nothing has matched the first season and a half for "Oh My Gosh" twists, but it still has moments when my jaw is on the floor. And somehow they make me feel tense even when I know how something is going to play out (for instance, during the scene where Marshall forges a criminal record for Vaughn).

As for Dixon's lack of emotion, maybe he's a replicant . . .

IMO, the worst thing they could have done was put Dixon as the boss man. It killed all that friendly interaction with Syd and made him just another boring suit. Even though he was always pretty by the book, now he is too rigid.

Love Weiss's character, gotta love Marshall. I saw him on an ep of 2 Guys & A Girl and he was working at a cab company. Hilarious!

We had a book discussion on the TCScapers list, and pretty much decided that if the Vorkosigan books are ever made into movies, the guy who plays Marshall (you can tell that I'm not truely addicted to this series, I don't have the actor names memorized) absolutely, positively must play Miles (and not just because he's short).
