Anybody else like Gilmore Girls?
It is probably my favorite show as of right now. The actress really get along with each other and the dialogue is great--very witty and funny.
It had a rough start, but is pretty fresh.

Ive watched the past two episodes with this girl at the end of my hall. I like the banter between the people...even if the plot is slightly soap operish and the acting looks a bit overdone some parts. I wont dare admit that i watched gilmore girls to any other guy i meet though. :)

I love Gilmore Girls; it's one of three WB shows that I endeavor to never miss (and being that I don't actually have a WB network to watch them on and instead have to watch them broadcast really late at night by a local NBC station, that's sometimes quite a feat). The dialogue rarely, if ever, caters to the dumbing down of society; if you don't understand words or statements made, too bad for you, the rest of us are moving onward. I love the fast, complex conversations the characters on occation get into. I have found many of the plots to tug at my heart-strings, even if they are occationally on a bit of a soap-opera-ish slant. So, yeah, I like the show. :D

I like Gilmore Girls, too, though I think it's been experiencing a bit of an identity crisis this year since Rory's gone to college. One of the driving dynamics is the byplay between Lorelai and Rory, and I can see them struggling with how to maintain that. That said, I do love the dialogue and the pop culture references, as well as the chemistry between Lorelai and Luke. My favorite parts are the scenes between Lorelai and her mother; they give the show a bit of an edge.

I just know I wish my mom was like that! Actually, that's about how my sister and I interact. She is 11 years older than me, so we kind of have that same type of relationship. I've been watching this show faithfully from the beginning. My only complaint was when they brought Jess in to screw everything up. I didn't like him. I've never really thought of it being soap-operaish though. It's more real life than we realize, plus nobody is in a coma after being pushed down the stairs by their wife/stepdaughter/halfsister! :D Oh, yeah, and I love Luke!
