Wednesday night's episode ushered in a brand new batch of eight South Park episodes. "South Park is Gay!" lampooned the inexplicable "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" craze that is currently sweeping the nation. As someone who is gay, I found the episode highly enjoyable and the secret behind the "Fab Five" even more fun. The point of South Park is to amuse, incite and comment. This episode contained everything I love about this show. It airs again on Saturday night for those that missed it.

I enjoyed that episode (and wrote about it on the Queer Eye thread). I don't know how those guys (Trey and Matt) come up with some of their stuff. Making fun of the new fad by having the entire town (almost) turn metrosexual was hilarious, but then they come up with the "crab people" thing out of nowhere! [Does the crab people angle make that episode "sci fi"?] Metro-Cartman was pretty funny.
I can't remember now..... but did Kenny avoid being killed this time? Have they stopped doing that now? Hmmmm.

so who watched South Park tonight... they really skewered some recording artists, didn't they. Poor Lars and Brittney... I feel so sorry for them.

Yes, that poor little boy who's only dream in all the world is to have his own tropical island and now he can't get it because people are downloading music instead of buying CDs.
:highfive:

Sounds like I missed a good one...... I forgot it was Wednesday and didn't set the VCR to record it. Oh well. Are they still repeating the eps on the weekends?

I saw most of it, it was good. I like the part, "See this is Britney Spears' private jet. She use to have a Gulfstream 4, but had to sell it and buy a Gulf Stream 3, because of people downloading music. The Gulf stream 3 doesn't even have a remote control for the Digital Dvd surround sound system." Or sometime close to that. I'm glad I don't listen to those idiots.
