'Coupling' cancelled

Stateside version of BBC hit fizzles

It’s coitus interruptus for NBC’s "Coupling." Peacock has pulled the plug on frosh laffer, shutting down production Friday and informing the show’s producers that additional episodes will not be ordered.

I think the original is available on BBC America instead of whatever travesty a US version usually is. At least I saw it advertised several times last night.

And the first two seasons are available on DVD here in the US of A. Widescreen too, which is quite a shock for a comedy series.

and the BBC version is frellin' fabulous! I just picked up my copy of Season 2 at Best Buy, and I haven't laughed that loud since the last time I watched Coupling :D

Thats my favorite...the way he was saying "naked". I LOVE English accents, especially his. :D

And season 2 is FINALLY out here in the states? I've been waiting for that

Jeff Rocks! He's sooooo COOL. And adorable. I mean....sheesh. The guy's a geek that's just a little scary, but you can't help wanting to give him a hug every now and then. LOL!

Yeah, I'm surprised at how many TV shows they have on Netflix..I'll just buy it. :)


I still think the BEST "Jeff moment" was when (and I cant remember the season)...that boss-lady that he was dating (cant remember her name either...I do watch this show believe it or not :) ) had him blind-folded and he was stripping and EVERYONE he worked and the rest of the gang were in the room cause of his birthday and in walks his mom and dad and he is NAKED in front of everyone. :rollin:

Okay, so I might have liked that for the "OMG Jeff is taking all his clothes off" reason, instead of the "ha-ha funny comedy moment" reason, but it was still good. :aok:
