So...there was a marathon on today on WGN...and I couldn't help wondering...was Thing always played by the same hand?

Cousin Itt was a small actor (can't recall his name) in a fur suit.

I remember reading somewhere that the hand that played Thing belonged to the actor who played Lurch.
