ok, in exodus fom genesis, after the crew got rid of the PK's and the bugs left, we're told that Aeryn is on the terrace. In the closing scene, John goes out on the terrace which appears to be a deck on the ouside of moya that had a full view of space w/ some kind of sheild, so no one needed a space suit.
But this terrace only appears in this episode. why was that? It appeared it had the same potential as the oberservation deck of TNG. Definetely would of added some intersting props set for other episodes.

If I remember correctly, the terrace scene was an extremely expensive cgi so they decided not to do it again because of the cost.

Actually, I think that the terrace was also used briefly in ep 11, "Till the Blood Runs Clear." (Zhaan was out there having "private moments" #1-56 ;- )

Yeah, everybody agreed that it was a really neat spot, but prohibitively expensive to ever do again.

too bad. i thought that was one of the most beautiful shots of the show. i was wondering too where that set went.... :(

Ah, maybe if we ask Rockne nicely in Burbank, we can get them to write it in an episode or two of season 5. At the very least include it in the movie. I'm sure they'll be happy to accommodate if we ask nicely. :)
