Okay. so what are some things we learn from Farscape that are pretty much fundamentally true (within the universe of the show)? Religionwise...I mean. Like we know that, in Farscape, people have souls, because of Stark. He helps cross people over and he actually communicates with them. And we know this is at least somewhat real cause he can get information from them...LGM, as well as Prayer- with the Skikozou Stark.

We've also met one of the Leviathan Gods...although...are we sure they're actually deities? They could just be highly technologically advanced.

What else?

Spoiler constellation of doubt

Noranti had a lot to say about religion on her interview that John was watching. Basically that religion was as numerous as the different species.

I think overall though zhann contributed the most on that topic. Her belief that life was sacred. When she prayed for the bug john killed in S1 while doing an autopsy on it kills me.

The fact that practitioners of different faiths and even non-faiths had access to the spiritual plane/spiritual powers suggest to me that in the writer's minds it exists separately from religion.

Maldus and Stark don't seem to have any particular faith... but they sure as hell have spirtual powers!

Yeah. I guess what I meant in this thread is: which spiritual beliefs are TRUE, according to Farscape. Like, that the characters have souls isn't something that can be contested, given our info on Stark.
