D'Argo acting stupid in the end.

In the 1st 17 episodes of of the season he evolves as an individual and shows much more intelligence and judgement like in the princess trilogy. Then in the last episodes he totally freaks out and shows a lack of judgement and intelligence as a 3 year old. Hating stark for no reason and making stupid decisions all the time, accusing Crichton for stuff etc.

Just such a total reverse from the character who was developing and then went back to square one.
Anyone else noticed that?

You have to remember that he is also trying to keep his hyer-rage in check at all times. When it comes to something as important as his only son, the only thing he has left of his wife, the emotion is too much and takes over.

Yeah. You will see that D'Argo's rage is always just barely under the surface. As he matures, he does learn to deal with it better, but even late into season 3 this is still a problem for him. It's almost like a "two steps forwards, one step backwards" thing.
