While we wait and wait and work work work? Personally I read old reviews on other sites. Today while reading the Farscape thread at Television WIthout Pity (hysterical site btw). I got pointed to a site called the Diet Coke of Snark. There were reviews of other things but the Scape recaps are a riot. Which made me think of this little doozy...the Tough Pigs. I gota favorite wuote from there:

Any time something gets beautiful on Farscape for two minutes at a time, that's a red flag that they're about to kill a puppy.

I've tried to read some fanfic to fill the time but can't get into most of unless it's offscreen somehow (Nerri and the Nebari resistance, Aeryn's missing years in the Locket, and this one site I found with an alternate season one where Crais's bro didn't die). And of course there's the boards and rewatching every episode until I'm sure I have them memmorized line for line.

But how do you get your Scape fix

Here a lot. Watching DVDs over & over, watching favorite scenes as well as whole episodes. Creating Farscape-inspired squares for the quilt project. And I really have gotten into fan fic, seem to go through periods of reading it constantly, then stopping for awhile.

P.S. That's why I'm up so late tonight, started reading fan fic and couldn't stop.

Yeah i'm reading show recaps for shows I hate or never watch over at TWoP. blah blah blah insomnia cakes. I feel your pain. Got any favorite Scape fiction locations? I like the idea of the Karlsweb stuff but there's just SO much. So. Much.

I get my Farscape fix by watching DVD's, watching the music videos (check out Farscapefantasy.com!) and by arguing minute points of plot or science with other like minded people on these very boards.

I get my fix by watching the first three seasons on DVD and the fourth season on VHS (until the DVDs come out). Of course, I also get my fix here as well.

I've written some fanfic (note to self: finish that...), I watch the re-runs, I have most episodes taped, I visit FS boards like this almost every day, and I use words like "frell", "dren" and "pulse pistol" in everyday conversation with my husband. :)

That and we just ordered the S1 box set. :)

oooo no havn't seen that thread thankx ever so much. I'll be vegetable like at my parents house this evening so hoepfully I'll either A) get some writing for my own ranty website done or B) get a ton of reading done. Most likely the latter. blah blah procrastination cakes.

Woe is me. I just found out that the version of the dvds I have (from the Flax to the end of Seas 1) don't have the commentary. They were having a rousing discussion about Claudia and Ben singing on the commentaries in the TWoP forums. POUT.

Edited to fix my seriously poor typing. This keyboard is dren.

Instead of tracks on our arms, we have those damned security stickers from the DVDs that sticks to every frelling thing. I found one on the bottom of my shoe the other day. No telling how long it had been there.
