Would someone going to Burbank do me (and maybe a few others) a favor?

I thought I'd resigned myself to not going to the Burbank con. It comes and goes, though. I'll be fine and then I'll read the new posts in the convention threads. It sends me into a dither, and I check my bank accounts, thinking that I maybe have just enough if I don't pay one of my bills....

Anyhoo, I think most of you wear identification/name badges at the cons, right? I was hoping someone wouldn't mind wearing a sort of 'here in spirit' label for me. :) I could make the labels up for anyone else not going to the con as well, and Priority them out to the gracious volunteers.

Urg, maybe a silly idea, but at least I'll be there, even if it's a sticker on somebody's shirt.

btw: I think it's a great idea, I can just imagine hundreds of Scapers, all plastered with name-tags, showing how many of us there *really* are :) You could also print a little pic of yourself to go with the name-tag, kinda like when AFD had stand-ins for tcpike and kazbaby from the Kansas board along for ScaperCon :D

Hmm...I good make a Zhaan picture (seems to go best with "In Spiritus Sunt") using all the pictures I got from the mosaic project. I couldn't put names on it because I didn't keep very good track of who's who. Unless you wanted to have a graphic on the front and a list of everyone's names on the back...

g_s: What I imagined was more of a collage of various Scaper-pictures put together, with a name or a quote...kinda like passport pix, just stitched together into one larger picture to print. People would have to "resubmit", rather than you trying to go through the pile and work it out (which I reckon would be almost impossible!)

But a printout of the larger poster would be cool, too.

I live in Mobie Ala and I just can't possibly make it to the con but I would be eternally grateful if my name was worn into the diffrent auditoriums and bars that you will be going too.
