Great idea...

Wonder if we could con Ratscape, Praetorian, ScorpSik, or Meurig47 into doing something on commission?

If there were an "official" SaveFarscape Poster, or T-Shirt, or whatever, I'd probably want one.

'specially a poster. But if you can get a really good image produced, there's no reason it couldn't go on multiple "products".

Yep, I was actually thinking like a button with a cute farscape pictute with the words "I helped save Farscape" and the site address on it...

We could off-set it by telling people they can send donations somewhere...

Excellent idea, PSW!

Another thing I'd love to see WHEN Farscape returns is a coffee-table book of all the gorgeous art produced for the campaign, plus synopses/timelines of the major campaign projects. "Saving Farscape: the Book"? Maybe we'd get a pass on the copyright issues if all proceeds past production costs went to the Henson's favorite charity.

Man, I would love to have a book souvenir to go with T-shirts/buttons/posters as a reminder of all our hard work as a community.

what might be easier padme is if some designs were made and posted here for folks to download. they could then transfer to a tshirt, bumpersticker or whatever.

Its a great idea - but it would be better - IMO - to wait, personally I'd like to be able to put a date 11/2003 thru whatever.

Great, and yes I agree wait till we have an actual date... like I said an Idea for WHEN it returns... still we can throw ideas around and what it should look like that sort of thing, maybe get some designs and let people vote on which two they like best???

that looks great, maybe then we can add some farscape pics underneath and vote on the 2 best to actually do... hopefully if this announcement goes well in the next month.

Hopefully more artists will add their work here over time and anyone can download what they like best, then transfer it to tshirts, bumper stickers, magnets, whatever they want :D

my last post was supposed to be quoting kitfoxer! not just re posting it

anyhoo what i was ganna say was that;
kitfoxer - i really like the idea of the book. it would be great to see everyone credited for their effects ect. i thought it would be great to have pics from the 5th of farscape rallies, from cons, leno and all the other stunts we have done to go along with artwork and timeline ect. and maybe a few words from our fearless leaders aswell

I was thinking ... for those of us who are computer-challenged (and t-shirt-making-challenged :goof: ) ... maybe someone (saneTV?) could add the final design to a cafepress store, so people could just order a shirt. In fact, if the profits could be donated to one of the funds (ad fund, Military project, whatever), even more people might be tempted to buy one (or two ... or five ... :D ). Just a thought ...

Thanks! I'll have to check into it but I think because it has the word "farscape" on it we can not sell it - the only way you can get a t-shirt may be to make it yourself. Those peskie copyright issues, got to love'm. :D I'll double check with Boo though!

Ok...I was just thinking (dangerdanger) and I really don't think that we can sell them - so what I suggest is to ask on the board for a t-shirt buddy - as long as you pay for materials only maybe you craft-challenged :D guys/girls can find a craft buddy willing to print out and iron on transfers for you.

I'll make up a high-res .jpg file for download and and post it later.
