i can't pick stand alones, i think because i don't see any. even the so-called one offs aren't, because the relationships between the characters continue to grow and change. what draws me to the show is consequence. their actions have ramifications, both universally and in their relationships with each other.

"Scratch & Sniff" has got to be my all-time "S-A" favorite! And that's funny, because Aeryn is my favorite character, and she's not even in it. Maybe it's the music? Or the flash-back, stop & go way they edited it? I think it's a real gem, hilarious AND thought-provoking! It's one that I have grown to love more & more w/each viewing, didn't even like it that much at first.

My top 5 (for now, and the order changes by the minute--heh, I even edited it before I posted):

3. John Quixote
4. Through the Looking Glass
5. Out of their Minds

Also love Revenging Angel.

And yes, waltersgirl has a point, each ep does influence the others, but there are some that are more "S-A" than the other more plot-linked ones.
