Imlego has a great thread going at http://www.watchfarscape.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=271947#post271947

It looks like that there are a number of episodes that EVERYBODY agrees on. I'd just like to see how we fillout the top 5 best stand alone episodes;) This is a short poll using the episodes so far named in Imlego's thread.

And so let the voting begin!:D

GREAT POLL.

I shied away from this because I've gotten heat any time I've truncated options -- like this poll does.

If anyone give you grief... just remember that there are almost always people who are gonna be unhappy no matter what you do.

On the other hand, maybe the upcoming Burbank announcement will have this site in such a love fest that everybody will be civil!

Again, I think you did a great job in the episode selections presented!

I looked at these from the perspective of a Farscape virgin, so although I LIKE all of these, some of them are too "out there" for someone who's new.

My Three Crichtons (it's the first one I saw, and it really GRABBED me!)
Through The Looking Glass (loved Rygel's new personality. And sweaty Crichton is always a good thing.)
I Shrink Therefore I Am
DNA Mad Scientist (Moya's crew shows how ugly they can get.)
Different Destinations (Once again, putting a Farscape twist on a cliche.)

It was a tough choice between CDM and OOTM:jedi:, but I chose the latter because that episode has me rolling:roll: every time I see it.

Thanks Darth for the compliment.

Just pulled the episodes people were listing on the other thread and just stuck them in a poll. Obviously, people in the other thread have good taste;)

A research thread, whether you start it or somebody else does, ALWAYS helps.

And dude, you can call me just 'Buddha'! The whole dark lord bit is just to scare off the riff-raff (but wait, I'M RIFF-RAFF!).

I voted for The Flax. Several reasons, pretty much it's just got that perfect blend of seriousness and that patented Farscape charm, and let every character have their moment in the sun:

- John and Aeryn... lots of romantic tension, humor and tension as they repair the ship.

- D'Argo... first chance at getting info on his son, then giving it up to help his crew, quirky humor with the pirate and his odd-ball ship. I love his line about how he fails "on both counts" as a father and a warrior.

- Excellent series of scenes with Zhaan, Rygel and Pilot as they play along with the Pirates. I loved when Rygel clues in Zhaan... "Please, bluffing is what the game's all about!"

Guhdamnit. Completely missed the "vote 5" thing as well. Seriously, it's massively difficult because I love them all. It's like picking a favorite Tropical Skittle.

Anyway, my little list is:

• The Flax
• Scratch 'n' Sniff
• Crackers Dont Matter
• Through The Looking Glass
• Out Of Thier Minds

These are sorta in order of favoritism, but it could change from day to day, mood to mood.

Out of their Minds
Different Destinations
Scratch 'n' Sniff

I only voted for one, but for five it would have to be:

Different Destinations
Scratch-N-Sniff
The Flax
Through the Looking Glass
Out of their Minds
