Geek girls want strong female characters, like Aeryn Sun. We like science fiction and kick ass fantasy. We don't want to be relegated to romance novels.
I'm not sure this upcoming HBO show "Game of Thrones" based on George R.R. Martin's novels is my cup of tea (and I don't get HBO), but I'm all for adventure with strong female characters who can take care of themselves.
